Rain & Shine promotes the use of natural and logical consequences through an Applied Behavioural Analysis approach, while promoting the use of Cognitive Restructuring Techniques to address behavioural and mental health needs. Rain & Shine employs trained professionals, experienced in many types of behavioural and mental health interventions, offering a variety of programs and services designed to

deal with varying needs and environments. Rain & Shine Behavioural Counselling believes in bettering our community through education and support to families, children & youth experiencing behavioural, social and mental health difficulties in any aspect of their lives; home, school, vocation and community. Rain & Shine offers outpatient services to children and families through parent coaching, child management, day respite, behavioural and mental health counselling in individual and group formats. (Anxiety, depression, mood disorders, emotion regulation and self-esteem, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, anger management, social skills). The Youth Justice Division under Rain and Shine offers at risk youth within Chatham-Kent an opportunity to reconnect with their community and develop pro-social connections through assisting in adherence with court orders, education and employment reintegration, as well as mental health counselling services. We are excited to announce our 2026 CK Pride Parade Marshals: Chatham-Kent Public Library! 🌈📚

Chatham-Kent Public Library has been a valued partner in supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ people and families throughout our community. Through initiatives such as Rainbow Reads for children, teens, and adults, Rainbow Storytime, Pride programming, and ongoing partnerships with CK Pride, the library has created opportunities for people of all ages to see themselves reflected, connect with others, and feel welcome.

We are proud to recognize Chatham-Kent Public Library as our 2026 CK Pride Parade Marshals and thank them for their continued commitment to building a more inclusive Chatham-Kent.

Please note that our Chatham drop-in hours are changing beginning Thursday, July 30th.

Moving forward, the Chatham drop-in, located at 39 Richmond Street, will be closed on Thursdays. Our regular hours will be:

• Monday: 1–5 PM
• Wednesday: 1-4 PM
• Friday: 1-5 PM

This change only affects our Chatham drop-in hours. Our outreach team will continue to provide daily outreach in the community seven days a week.
