What an incredible community we have! We are thrilled to share that Lakeshore Manor Chestermere fundraiser raised over $3,000.00 for the ALS Society of Canada in support of the Chestermere Professional Firefighters Association Campout for a Cause! 🎗️💙

Our team at Lakeshore Manor was proud to organize this fundraiser, featuring beautiful hand-knitted blankets in a silent auction, to help support this important cause.

A huge thank-you to everyone who donated, bid on blankets, and supported our fundraiser. Your generosity and kindness will help make a difference for those affected by ALS.

We are so proud of our community for coming together and showing such amazing support. A special thank-you to the Chestermere Professional Firefighters Association for their dedication and commitment to making a difference in the fight against ALS and supporting one of their own.

From all of us at Lakeshore Manor, thank you for helping make this fundraiser such a unexpected success! It’s amazing what we can accomplish when our community comes together for a great cause. We do hope they reach the $40,000 goal so those moustaches come off!! 💙

🧶💙 CAN’T MAKE IT TO LAKESHORE MANOR TO BID ON A BLANKET? YOU CAN STILL JOIN THE FUN! 💙🧶

We’ve had lots of questions about how to bid on our blankets if you can’t make it onsite, so we’re making it easy for everyone to participate from wherever you are! 🎉

📱 HOW TO BID ONLINE:

1️⃣ Browse the blankets posted and look for the blanket you love!

2️⃣ Comment your bid directly on the photo of the blanket you want to win. Please make sure your bid is clearly stated.

3️⃣ Watch for updates! We’ll combine online bids with onsite bids to keep the current highest bid as accurate as possible.

4️⃣ Check back regularly! We’ll post updated bidding information at 12 PM, 2 PM, 4 PM, and 6 PM so you can see where the bidding stands.

5️⃣ Keep bidding! If someone outbids you, you’ll have a chance to increase your bid. Keep an eye on the updates so you don’t miss your opportunity!

✨ ONLINE-ONLY BLANKETS! That’s right! We also have special blankets available exclusively to our online bidders. You won’t want to miss those!

🦃🍂 A Thanksgiving Celebration to Be Thankful For! 🍂🧡

This past Friday, we celebrated Thanksgiving at Lakeshore Manor with some very special guests — the Chestermere Professional Firefighters Association 🚒❤️

What makes these visits so special is that they do so much more than just stop by. They take the time to sit, chat, laugh, and have genuine conversations with our residents. ❤️ It’s these everyday moments of connection that mean so much and remind us how powerful a simple conversation can be.

We are incredibly grateful for the time they spend with our residents and for the kindness and compassion they continue to show our Lakeshore Manor family. 🧡

A heartfelt thank-you to the Chestermere Professional Firefighters Association for being such a wonderful part of our community and for helping make our Thanksgiving celebration extra special!

Lakeshore Manor was thrilled to fire up the BBQ and show our appreciation for the incredible RCMP, Fire Department, and EMS who work tirelessly to keep our community safe! 👏

We enjoyed some great food, laughs, and time together—but most importantly, we had the opportunity to say THANK YOU for everything they do.

Their dedication, courage, and compassion do not go unnoticed. We are so grateful to have such amazing first responders in our community! ❤️

A Little Education, A Lot of Conversation!

Today at Lakeshore Manor, Traci our Care Coordinator tackled a topic that definitely got people talking — “Sex for Seniors”!

Our education session focused on the important stuff: personal hygiene, healthy relationships, STI awareness, prevention, and staying informed about sexual health at any age. 🧼🩺💬

There were plenty of laughs, some great questions, and lots of valuable information shared.

We’re proud to provide education that keeps our residents informed, empowered, and comfortable having important conversations.

And yes… there may have been a few blushes along the way! 😄🌹

Last week, we were so fortunate to welcome the Gregory Brothers for a fantastic musical performance for our residents! 🎤✨

Our residents enjoyed an afternoon filled with wonderful music, smiles, laughter, and great memories. We’re so grateful to the Gregory Brothers for sharing their incredible talent and making the day so special for everyone! ❤️
