FirReal Nature Connections

FirReal Nature Connections Nature-connected life coach and shamanic practitioner helping women heal old patterns, reconnect with themselves, and find their way forward.

Chilliwack BC and online. I invite you to join me in nature as we walk with intention, purpose and mindfulness. Bring your troubles and your worries, but also your wishes and powerful requests of healing in nature. Experience a connection with nature and it’s healing abilities as you take the time to stop and listen to your infinite self, and as you listen to nature you realize you are one. Enjoy

exploring nature uninhibited and from a new perspective, and yes, there will most definitely be some tree hugging involved. I have a Forestry and Wildlife Conservation course certificate, a Horticulture Crop Production and Protection Certificate, am a Horticulture Production Journey Person, and have completed an Intro to Nature Connected Coaching course. I am currently enrolled in a Transformational Coaching course, a Wildcrafting Basics, and Wild Forest Bathing (Yasei Shinrin-yoku )Teacher Training. My love for trees and nature has no end.

June has a particular fullness to it.

The light stays long, the air is warm without being heavy yet, and everything outside is completely committed β€” no tentativeness left from spring.

There's an energy this time of year that tends to bring things to the surface.

Decisions that have been sitting.
Relationships worth examining. Things you've been almost ready to do for longer than feels comfortable to admit.

Summer doesn't let things stay vague the way winter does.

Worth paying attention to what's becoming clear for you right now. 🌿

In case you're new here β€”

I'm Melody, a certified nature-connected life coach, Partswork facilitator, and shamanic practitioner based in Chilliwack, BC.

I work with women who are functioning fine on the outside but feel something underneath that needs attention.

Old patterns that keep showing up.

A sense of disconnection from themselves. Something they've been carrying longer than they'd like.

The work combines coaching, parts work, nature connection, and shamanic healing β€” in person in Chilliwack or online.

This page is where I share what I know in the hope that some of it lands for someone who needs it.

Glad you're here. 🌿

The solstice is two weeks away.
The wheel is turning toward the fullest point of the year β€” the longest light, the most outward energy, the season of ripening.
Spring was for starting. Summer is for tending what started.
Worth asking this week: what are you tending? Not fixing, not pushing β€” just what's yours to take care of, and are you actually doing that? 🌿

Something I hear pretty often β€” "I don't even know who I am anymore."

Not said dramatically. Just quietly.

Like something got lost somewhere along the way and they can't quite remember when.

If that sounds familiar, I put together a free guide called Reconnect With Your True Self.

It's practical and grounded β€” a real starting point, not a list of affirmations.

When you're stuck and can't think your way out β€” try these three questions:

What do I actually know right now?
Not what you're afraid of, not worst case β€” what you actually, factually know. Fear shrinks when it has to get specific.

What would I tell a friend in this situation? We're almost always clearer for other people than we are for ourselves. Use that.

What does my body say? Before your brain gets involved β€” where do you feel this? Tension, ease, heaviness, lightness.

That's useful information.
You don't need all the answers. Just the next honest step.

Which of these three do you find most useful? πŸ‘‡

June evenings in the Fraser Valley are genuinely one of the better things going.
The light stays long. The air is warm without being heavy yet. Everything is fully green in a way it won't stay much longer before summer dries it out.
Go be in it tonight if you can β€” even 20 minutes, even your backyard. It's enough. 🌿

Solitude is being alone and feeling whole.
Loneliness is being alone β€” or surrounded by people β€” and feeling unseen.
One restores you. The other depletes you. And they can look identical from the outside.
A lot of people who say they need more alone time actually mean they need more solitude β€” more time being genuinely themselves without performing or managing anyone else.
That's different from isolation. Worth knowing which one you're actually craving.
Which sounds more like what you need right now β€” more solitude or more genuine connection?

Burnout isn't laziness. It's not weakness. It's what happens when you spend from an account you stopped refilling a long time ago.
Every time you pushed through tired. Every time you said yes when you meant no. Every time you put yourself last and called it responsibility.
It all went somewhere.
Burnout is just the bill arriving.
Recovery isn't a weekend of rest. It's a genuine renegotiation of how you're spending yourself β€” and what you actually want to protect.

A lake can look completely still and be full of movement underneath. Current, temperature layers, life β€” none of it visible from the surface.
People work the same way.
The ones who look the most composed are often carrying the most. The ones who seem fine are sometimes the ones who most need someone to ask twice.
If you've been keeping a calm surface while something moves underneath β€” that's worth checking in with. Not to perform the calm better. To actually see what's below it. 🌿

Fixing says: this needs to change.
Accepting says: this is what's true right now.
Most people treat these as opposites. They're not.
Real change almost always starts with acceptance β€” not because you're giving up, but because you can't work clearly with something you're still in a fight with. You can fully accept something and still want it to be different. Those two things can exist at the same time.
The question worth sitting with: which one do you find harder β€” accepting or fixing?
