2026 Cattle For A Cause – Fort Macleod Auction Market
The management at S.A.L.E. is proud to continue the Cattle For A Cause initiative in 2026, donating $2 per calf sold to local organizations and charities that strengthen the heart of our communities. By supporting these sales, consignors and buyers are helping make a lasting impact for families, ranchers, farmers, youth, healthcare, and rural initiatives across Southern Alberta.

All Breed Calf Sale Featuring Charolais & Angus Calves
Supporting: Claresholm & District Health Foundation
The Claresholm & District Health Foundation raises and manages funds to enhance healthcare services throughout the region. Donations remain local, directly benefiting patients and supporting healthcare excellence for residents of Claresholm, Stavely, Granum, and surrounding communities.
In addition to the Cattle For A Cause, S.A.L.E. – Fort Macleod Auction Market and S.A.L.E. – Cowtown Livestock Exchange are excited to support two organizations that play a vital role in serving our rural communities.
During the months of October and November, $1 per head from every animal sold at both markets will be split and donated between STARS Air Ambulance and HALO Air Ambulance.
For generations, ranchers, farmers, and rural families have relied on these life-saving air ambulance services during emergencies when every minute matters. This is our opportunity to give back and help ensure these organizations can continue providing critical care when it is needed most.
Every animal sold during October and November will help support the mission of STARS and HALO, making a difference across the communities we proudly serve.
We thank our consignors, buyers, and supporters for joining us in this important initiative. Together, we can help keep these essential services flying.
