For 15 years, I yo-yo dieted 🫣

Perfectionism. All-or-nothing thinking. Restrict, lose weight, regain it (plus interest), start over.

After 15 years, I was up an extra 65 lbs

Eventually, I changed my approach.

I stopped obsessing over calories, eating as little as possible and chasing a number on the scale. Instead, I focused on adding more whole foods, more nutrients and taking care of my body.

I lost 40 lbs in 4 months, maintained that loss for 4 years, and then lost another 30 lbs in 6 months.

If I could go back and talk to my 20-year-old self, I’d tell her she never needed to spend all those years fighting with her body.

And that’s why I’m sharing this now. The number on the scale doesn’t have to be the goal.

Focus on your health, your nourishment and your happiness… let weight loss be a side effect ❤️
