My goal is to create a supportive space where people can learn about addiction recovery, mental health, healing, boundaries, self growth, and the many paths to recovery.

Sometimes a single post, resource, or conversation can help someone feel a little less alone.

Your support helps this page reach more people who may be struggling, supporting a loved one, or looking for hope and connection.

๐Ÿ’›Active Addiction Behaviours vs. Recovery Behaviours๐Ÿ’›

Recovery is about more than not using substances. It's about learning new ways of thinking, coping, and living.

๐Ÿ”นActive Addiction Behaviour

Isolation
Dishonesty or hiding things
Avoiding responsibilities
Blaming others
Seeking immediate relief or escape
Ignoring emotions
Poor self-care
Impulsive decision-making
Resentment and victim thinking
Refusing help or support

๐ŸŒฑRecovery Behaviours

Asking for help when needed
Honesty with ourselves and others
Practicing self-care
Setting healthy boundaries
Feeling and processing emotions
Building healthy routines
Staying connected to supportive people
Being open to feedback and growth
Making decisions based on values rather than impulses

The goal isn't perfection. The goal is awareness.

Sometimes recovery means noticing when we're slipping back into old patterns and making a different choice.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Looking at these lists, which recovery behaviour has had the biggest positive impact on your life? Or which one are you currently working on?

Please share your experience. It may help someone else๐Ÿ’›

๐Ÿ’›Weekend Recovery Check-In๐Ÿ’›

As we head into the weekend, let's take a moment to pause and check in with ourselves.

Weekends can bring rest, connection, fun, and freedom-but they can also bring stress, loneliness, triggers, or disruptions to our routines.

Whatever this weekend holds for you, remember that your recovery and well-being matter.

Take a moment to reflect:
๐ŸŒฑ One thing I'm grateful for this week:
๐Ÿ’› One thing I'm proud it myself for:
๐ŸŽฏ One thing I want to focus on this weekend:
๐Ÿค One thing I'll do to supply my recovery, mental health, or self-care:

Recovery happens by one choice, one day, and one weekend at a time.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Share your check-in below. Let's support and encourage each other as we head into the weekend.

Wishing everyone a safe, peaceful, and recovery-focused weekend ๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŒฑโ˜€๏ธ
