This tribe. ❤️🏃‍♀️

The final official race of the season wrapped up in Victoria, BC, and I couldn’t be prouder of these women.

Every one of them has a story about how she got here this weekend. Each has faced her own challenges, hurdles, and moments of doubt along the way. And although, one of our tribe couldn’t make it to the start line this time, she was with us in spirit.

But the race itself? That’s just the celebration of all the commitments, choices, early mornings, and work that got us here.

It’s about showing up for ourselves, supporting one another, and choosing to keep moving forward, whatever that looks like.

This is more than running. This is our lifestyle. This is our joy. This is our tribe. ❤️

Breath. We cannot live without it.

I’ve had the pleasure of being a Mentor with Integrative Breath for four cohorts now, and one of my favourite parts of this work is witnessing the transformation that happens when students truly meet their own breath—and then develop the confidence to share that experience with others.

I became a student of Oxygen Advantage because I wanted to better understand how breath can support me and the athletes I coach.

But I walked away with so much more.

I have a deeper understanding of how breathing influences performance, recovery, nervous system regulation, stress, and ultimately, quality of life.

This knowledge will be woven into my work in the treatment room, my coaching, my own training—and my everyday life.

Breath is always with us. It’s one of the most powerful tools we have, yet most of us rarely stop to understand it.

I’m so grateful to keep learning, exploring, and experiencing what this incredible tool can do.

And I’m excited to take the next step…

This post is about gratitude. Yesterday I did a thing. Calgary 70.3 Ironman.

Training began 7 months ago coming off one of the challenging years of my life. My health tanked. I couldn’t work. I could barely stay awake. I thought my life as I had known it was forever gone.

But, it wasn’t. I got better. I signed up to do this race so I had something to work towards. I joined for community and support. I joined for coaching and training. I said no to holidays and activities to prioritize my goals.

I also had a team at Soulstice Wellness Centre - Cochrane Alberta physio with Cochrane Physiotherapy Group to keep me moving.

My family, especially my husband has sacrificed so much so I can be an average athlete!! But let’s not forget my kids, dad, sisters, nieces and nephews!!

However what has made the largest impact is my tribe.

The ones who also signed up to do this race and the ones who were cheering us on. The ones who showed up, messaged, and shared their support.

Yes, we all have challenges, but we don’t need to struggle alone.

As I said, this post is about gratitude and I thank everyone who is a part of my life. You are the ones that make it spectacular 💕

Birthday in Colorado. 🎂🏔️

Today I’m celebrating another year around the sun mentoring new breathwork facilitators.

What a gift it is to help others discover the power of breath, healing, and human connection.

Every person who learns to hold space for transformation creates a ripple that extends far beyond what we can see.
