A Little Touch From Heaven

A Little Touch From Heaven With hands of energy and a heart tuned to Spirit, I give voice to those who speak in silence. I have always been an animal lover, mostly of cats. It made sense.

Then as life moved on, dogs came into my life. It was just a couple years ago, I discovered I was to be a healer and animals were to be my passion especially horses. I was just a little girl when I lived on a dairy farm and were surrounded by animals, large and small. I now have found the means with which to help our fur babies get well with Reiki. I don't give up. Not on myself and most definitel

y not on our 4 legged family members that we love so dearly. Please contact me for more information. I would love to share with you my love of animals to help them be happy and healthy. Book online: https://visibook.com/touchfromheaven

Most people look at a horse and see beauty.

Horse lovers look deeper.

They see a masterpiece of strength, trust, intelligence, and resilience built with incredible precision. Every part of a horse tells a story. Every muscle, tendon, joint, and bone serves a purpose. Together, they create one of the most remarkable animals ever to walk the earth.

What makes horses so extraordinary is not simply how they look. It is how perfectly they are designed to carry dreams, overcome obstacles, and build bonds that can last a lifetime.

The powerful shoulders that pull through impossible challenges.

The strong legs that carry riders across mountains, fields, forests, and memories.

The sensitive ears that listen for danger long before we notice it.

The gentle eyes that somehow see straight into our hearts.

For centuries, humans have studied the anatomy of horses to better understand how to care for them, heal them, train them, and protect them. Yet even after all we have learned, there is still something magical about them that science cannot fully explain.

Perhaps it is because horses are more than the sum of their parts.

You can label every muscle.

You can name every bone.

You can map every tendon.

But no diagram can explain why standing next to a horse can calm a racing mind.

No chart can measure the comfort found in a quiet nuzzle.

No textbook can fully describe the trust that forms when a thousand-pound animal chooses to place its faith in you.

That connection is something you feel rather than understand.

Behind every great horse is a body engineered by nature with astonishing perfection. But behind every unforgettable horse is a spirit that cannot be measured.

A spirit that teaches patience when life moves too fast.

Courage when fear tries to take over.

Humility when success arrives.

And hope when everything seems lost.

The more we learn about horses, the more we realize how much they have taught us about ourselves.

Not because they speak.

But because they don't need to.

Their lessons are written in every stride, every breath, every heartbeat.

And perhaps the greatest lesson of all is this:

True strength is not found in power alone.

It is found in kindness, trust, loyalty, and the willingness to carry others forward even when the road is difficult.

That is why horses continue to inspire generation after generation.

Not only for how they are built.

But for who they are.

There are moments in life when words become unnecessary.

A horse never tells you, “I remember you.”

It never says, “You saved me.”

It never whispers, “You are important to me.”

And yet, somehow, you know.

Because every time it looks at you, there is something in its eyes that no language can fully explain.

This image captures something rare—the kind of connection that only exists when trust has grown so deep that it becomes part of two souls. In the reflection of that eye, there is no saddle, no competition, no ribbons, and no expectations. There is only a horse and the person who became its safe place.

Many people see horses as beautiful animals.

Horse lovers see something more.

They see a friend who listens without interrupting.

A companion who never judges.

A silent guardian who somehow understands emotions that even people fail to notice.

A horse notices the trembling in your hands.

The sadness hidden behind your smile.

The days when your heart feels too heavy to carry.

And without speaking a single word, it stays.

Not because it has to.

Because it chooses to.

That is what makes their love so extraordinary.

In a world where relationships often depend on conditions, horses teach us something different. They teach loyalty without contracts. Trust without promises. Friendship without words.

Look closely at this eye.

The reflection is small, but the meaning is enormous.

Because what a horse carries inside its memory is not the expensive tack, the trophies, or the photographs.

It remembers kindness.

It remembers patience.

It remembers the person who stayed.

Years may pass.

Seasons may change.

The mane may turn gray.

The rider may grow older.

But some bonds never disappear.

They remain alive in quiet moments, in familiar footsteps, in a gentle touch on the neck, and in the way a horse still turns its head when it hears the voice it loves.

Perhaps that is why losing a horse feels so painful.

And loving one feels so powerful.

Because once a horse lets you into its heart, a part of your soul stays there forever.

Maybe that is what we are really seeing in this reflection.

Not a girl and a horse.

Not a sunset.

Not a memory.

But proof that the purest relationships are not built with words.

They are built with trust.

And trust, once given by a horse, becomes one of the most precious gifts a human being will ever receive.

One of the biggest surprises horses have given me is this:

The less interested I became in controlling them, the more interested I became in understanding them.

And those turned out to be very different journeys.

Control is mostly about outcomes.

Will the horse do what I want?

Will they go where I ask?

Will they stop, stand, load, move, perform?

Understanding asks different questions.

What matters to this horse?

What brings them joy?

What worries them?

Who are their friends?

What do they notice that I don't?

How do they experience the world?

For a long time, I thought the purpose of relationship was to gain influence.

Now I wonder if the purpose of relationship is to gain perspective.

Because every horse lives in a reality I can never fully access.

They hear things I don't hear.

Smell things I don't smell.

Notice details I walk right past.

Experience life through a nervous system, body, and history that are entirely their own.

And yet, if I pay attention, they offer me little glimpses into that world.

A hesitation.

A preference.

A curiosity.

A concern.

A playful idea.

A quiet no.

A joyful yes.

Tiny windows into a life that is not mine.

Perhaps that is one reason horses are such extraordinary teachers.

Not because they show us how to control another being.

But because they invite us to become curious about a reality beyond our own.

And in a world where everyone seems certain they already understand everything...

curiosity might be one of the deepest forms of love.
