Incase anyone missed it. This is in Foothills county but still very good to be aware and understand when barns have strict husbandry practices.

Why Stretch Your Horse?
Those that know me know I LOVE giving homework and love stretches! These are so easy to do and add in to your riding/working routine.

It’s an important part of keeping them comfortable, mobile, and performing at their best.

Regular stretching can help:
- Improve flexibility and range of motion
- Reduce muscle tension and stiffness
- Support healthy joint movement
- Encourage better balance and body awareness
- Improve performance by allowing your horse to move more freely
- Aid recovery after work
- Help reduce the risk of compensatory movement patterns that can lead to soreness

Just like human athletes, horses benefit from preparing their bodies for movement and recovering afterward. A few minutes of appropriate stretching can make a big difference in how your horse feels and moves.

Remember: Stretches should always be performed gently, never forced, and should stay within your horse’s comfortable range of motion and on warm muscles.

A horse that moves well often feels better—and a horse that feels better can perform at its best.
