Did you know that SLS offers both the Swim Abilities program and a group Aquatic Therapy class?
Swim Abilities focuses on learning to swim, developing water safety skills, and building confidence in the pool.
Aquatic Therapy uses the unique properties of water to support therapeutic goals such as improving strength, balance, coordination, mobility, pain management, and overall function.
Both are valuable, but the right choice depends on your loved one's goals. In many cases, the two programs work beautifully together, Aquatic Therapy builds the foundation, while Swim Abilities builds swimming independence and water safety.
If you have any questions reach out to me, I'm one of the instructors!

Day 1 of the International Conference on Evidence Based Aquatic Therapy. I cannot put into words what it’s like being surrounded by so many passionate clinicians and researchers pushing the field forward.

Some highlights so far: learning more about the positive impact aquatic therapy can have on sleep, and exploring how matching rhythm to movement can support meaningful, goal-driven outcomes.

Looking forward to bringing these insights back to Sagewood Wellness
