📚✨ Back to School, Not Back to Burnout
A new school year can bring excitement—but it can also bring stress. If you're feeling overwhelmed, remember that you don't have to have everything figured out on day one.

💙 Here are a few ways to manage back-to-school stress:
🌟 Start with small goals. Focus on one assignment or one task at a time.
📅 Use a planner or calendar. Keeping track of deadlines can help you feel more in control.
😴 Prioritize sleep. A well-rested mind learns, remembers, and copes better with stress.
🤝 Stay connected. Spend time with supportive friends, family, or trusted teachers.
🧘 Take breaks. Step away from your work for a few minutes to recharge.
💬 Ask for help. If school feels overwhelming, talk to a teacher, school counsellor, counselling therapist, or another trusted adult. Asking for support is a strength.
🌱 Remember: Your grades don't define your worth. Progress is more important than perfection.

💙 Understanding Depression: You Are Not Alone

Depression is more than just feeling sad. It can affect how you think, feel, and function every day. Common signs may include:
✨ Persistent sadness or hopelessness
✨ Loss of interest in activities you once enjoyed
✨ Changes in sleep or appetite
✨ Fatigue or low energy
✨ Difficulty concentrating
✨ Irritability
✨ Withdrawing from family and friends

The good news is that depression is treatable, and support is available. Here are a few ways to help manage symptoms:

💙 Reach out for support: Talking with a mental health professional, trusted friend, or family member can make a meaningful difference.

🗓️ Create a routine: Regular sleep, meals, and small daily goals can help bring structure and stability.

🚶 Keep moving: Even a short walk or gentle stretching can help boost your mood.

🤝 Stay connected: Spending time with supportive people can reduce feelings of isolation.

🌿 Practice self-care: Make time for activities you enjoy, whether it's reading, listening to music, spending time in nature, or simply taking a quiet moment for yourself.

🥗 Support your body: Nutritious food, hydration, and good sleep habits all play an important role in mental well-being.

🧘 Manage stress: Deep breathing, mindfulness, or other relaxation techniques can help you cope during difficult moments.

Remember, healing isn't always a straight path. Every small step forward matters. If you or someone you care about is struggling with depression, reaching out for help is a sign of strength—not weakness.
