Once again we would like to thank the Wasaga Beach Legion for their support. The Legion has donated another $272 dollars to our organization.

Your contributions directly support the delivery and enhancement of our peer support programs and services.

Funds received from the Wasaga Beach Legion help us purchase essential program materials and supplies, including books, duo tangs, notebooks, pens, markers, craft supplies, and other resources that participants use during our groups and workshops.

Your donations also allow us to maintain and upgrade equipment that improves the quality of our programming. This includes computers and technology used by staff and participants, gym equipment and wellness supplies that promote physical health, as well as equipment and tools for our cooking and baking programs.

In addition, your support helps cover the cost of groceries for our cooking and baking classes. These programs provide participants with practical life skills while encouraging social connection, confidence building, and healthy eating habits.

Fundraising dollars also enable us to bring in qualified guest facilitators to offer specialized programming that complements our existing services. For example, we have been able to invite Indigenous community members to lead culturally relevant programming and teachings, as well as offer evidence-based programs such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and other educational and wellness workshops.

Your generosity also supports the professional development of our staff by helping to fund essential training, including CPR certification, Cultural Safety Training, and other continuing education opportunities. Investing in staff development ensures we continue to provide safe, high-quality, and inclusive services to our community.

Every dollar donated helps strengthen our ability to provide a welcoming, supportive environment where individuals experiencing mental health and addiction challenges can find hope, connection, and recovery. Your partnership allows us to continue expanding opportunities for learning, wellness, and personal growth for those who access our services.

Thank you

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Tracey Johnson.

For those of you who didn't have the privilege of knowing Tracey, she was our long-standing bookkeeper and an invaluable member of our organization. Tracey was with us from almost the very beginning. The Centre opened its doors in April 1994, and Tracey joined the organization in 1995. Over the past three decades, she guided the Centre through many highs and lows, always with dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment.

Tracey was much more than our bookkeeper—she was the backbone of our organization and a cherished member of our Centre family. Her kindness, loyalty, and countless contributions helped shape the organization into what it is today. Her presence will be deeply missed, and there will forever be a space in our hearts that cannot be filled.

Tracey, we can never thank you enough for the many years you dedicated to this organization. Your hard work, friendship, and unwavering support have left a lasting legacy that will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Tracey's family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.

Rest in peace, Tracey. You will be truly missed. https://www.affordablecremation.ca/obituaries/Tracey-Lynne-Johnson?obId=48933496&source=EmFbSh&utm_source=copy+url&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=obituary-share&utm_content=copy+url&fbclid=IwY2xjawS4khJleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBicmlkETEybElMVGJaTzhudzA0RVh5c3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHrtae3FwyDmg5JEv1L23e0pV9YHpDuKYjoh1GurI0vFTThQkhavmtJNRmyEk_aem_SfRrFp0Ljt2ot773puBbJQ
