It’s strange how life keeps moving forward
even when a part of you feels left behind.

You wake up, you breathe, you go through the day,
but there’s always that quiet space inside you
where their voice used to live.

Some days, it feels almost normal again.
You laugh, you smile, you forget for a moment—
and then it hits you out of nowhere…
a memory, a song, a small thing
that brings everything rushing back.

And suddenly, you remember
they’re not coming back in the next chapter.

That’s the hardest part—
not the goodbye you never got to say,
but learning how to keep going
without the person who meant so much to you.

You try to be strong,
you tell yourself they would want that,
but strength doesn’t mean
you don’t still feel the ache.

It just means you carry it differently now.

Because love like that doesn’t disappear.
It doesn’t fade with time.
It stays—quietly, deeply—
in the way you think,
in the way you remember,
in the way your heart still reaches for them.

And maybe turning the page
doesn’t mean leaving them behind…
maybe it just means
learning how to carry their love with you
into every chapter that comes next. 🤍

grief has no finish line.

there is no moving on,
there is only moving forward.

we hold all of the love and
memories in our hearts.

and healing isn’t about forgetting

it’s about learning to live with all
that love that we want to give..

but no longer can. ❤️‍🩹

Grief feels like living two lives…
one the world can see,
and one you carry quietly inside.

In one,
you smile,
you speak,
you move through the day
like everything is okay.

And in the other—
there’s a silence
that holds everything you don’t say,
a heaviness
that never fully leaves.

It’s where the memories stay,
where the ache lingers,
where your heart still reaches
for what it can’t have back.

You learn to balance both—
to exist in between,
to carry pain
without letting it stop you completely.

But even when you seem fine…

there’s always a part of you
that still feels it all,
quietly,
deeply,
and every single day.
