Innovation in care, with a little fun along the way.

Our Hospice Georgian Triangle team recently had the opportunity to explore and test out some exciting equipment advancements during a hands-on demo at Campbell House. Staff tried the Arjo Sara Flex sit-to-stand lift and the Arjo Wellness Chair, learning more about how these tools can help support comfort, mobility, and quality care for patients and families.

A big thank you to Nick Matsoukas from Arjo for spending time with our team, answering questions, and guiding us through the demonstrations.

It’s always exciting to explore new ways to enhance compassionate hospice palliative care in our community.

What a day! Our community showed up in a big way for the 2026 Hike & Bike for Hospice. From cyclists and hikers to volunteers, sponsors, and supporters, every step and pedal helped support compassionate hospice palliative care in South Georgian Bay.

We’re still smiling over the memories made, the incredible community spirit, and the more than $262,000 raised and counting.

Trivia, laughter, community, and an incredible impact.

A heartfelt thank you to Dave and Gail Gibbons for hosting a spectacular Trivia Night in support of Hospice Georgian Triangle. Held at Wasaga Beach United Church, the evening brought together more than 180 participants for a fun-filled night that raised an amazing $14,495 for compassionate hospice palliative care.

Guests enjoyed trivia, prizes, and plenty of laughs, and the generosity didn’t stop there. In a wonderful surprise, an anonymous donor stepped forward to match all proceeds raised during the event.

We are also deeply grateful to Peter and Rita Premich, for their generous volunteer support and everyone else who came out to make this evening a success.

This event was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together in support of local hospice palliative care.

Celebrating 20 Years of Volunteer Service.

Hospice Georgian Triangle Wish & Volunteer Coordinator April Lawson recently had the pleasure of recognizing Martha Lawrence for an incredible milestone, 20 years of volunteer service.

Over the past two decades, Martha has shared her time and talents in many ways, from helping in the kitchen and welcoming visitors at the front desk to supporting fundraising events and serving on advisory committees.

Reflecting on her volunteer journey, Martha shared:

"You always get back more than you give. I have met incredible people and shared countless moments of fun and laughter. It has been a rewarding and meaningful journey."

Thank you, Martha, for 20 years of compassion, dedication, and service. Your kindness has made a lasting impact on our organization and the many individuals and families we serve.

Volunteers truly are at the heart of Hospice Georgian Triangle.
