Good news! The announcement has been made that BC RMTs are included in PHASE 2 restart plan. But you’ll have to be a bit more patient. Safety first!

Currently RMTs are waiting for more details from both the college of massage therapy and the provincial health minister. We are regulated health professionals and the BC College of Massage Therapy will soon be providing us with information regarding our new PPE protocols and guidelines for the safety of our clients and ourselves.

I know you are all anxious to get back on the table but I anticipate in order for protocols to be put in place, the majority of local clinics will have a slower graduated start up. In the Comox Valley, many are looking at the beginning of June.

Due to my pending surgery, I will not be returning personally for a few months but I have a locum lined up. She may be available sooner. But to be safe I’ve opened up my online bookings as of July 1st. I will keep you advised as I know more.

I appreciate your patience as we all adapt to these new changes that will help to keep us safe, and will keep you updated as new information becomes available.

Hi everyone. I need to go on a medical
Leave and have been looking for a locum for my busy home based practice. My last day is March 24 th. While a locum would be ideal, a local RMT interested in picking up a few days of work is also an option. If you have any ideas please have them get in touch with me. Thanks

Looking for a Locum. Quite suddenly I find I need to have a hip replacement. My surgery date is March 25. I imagine I would need someone 2-3 months? My clients are booked ahead, hoping I find a replacement.

I’d love to find a RMT who might be interested in a ‘working holiday’ in the beautiful Comox Valley. I have a relaxing space on the lower level of my home and really great clientele, I’m set up with online booking, most direct bill to PBC. Im hoping I can find someone comfortable with deep tissue work, to take care of them while I rehab. I am flexible and open to what works best for everyone concerned.
