Our office is closed Saturday, September 5 through Monday, September 7. We reopen with regular hours on Tuesday, September 8.
While youโ€™re planning the back-to-school stretch, two reminders:

So for back-to-school season: buy one pair of kidsโ€™ lenses, get the second pair 50% off. A backup for the inevitable โ€œMom, they brokeโ€ moment โ€” or a sports pair, a spare for the school bag, whatever your kiddo needs to start the year seeing clearly.

1 in 4 school-aged kids has a vision problem. Most of them donโ€™t know anything is wrong, because theyโ€™ve never seen it any other way.
Kids donโ€™t say โ€œI canโ€™t see the board.โ€ They say the work is boring, or they get headaches, or they just stop trying.
An annual eye exam is covered by OHIP for everyone 19 and under. It takes about 30 minutes.
Booking back-to-school appointments now.
Some additional testing isnโ€™t OHIP-insured โ€” weโ€™ll always go over the cost with you first.
