After serving a family, we often get asked how they can thank us. The reality is, no thanks is necessary. It is an honour to have your trust and to serve you and your family. That being said, google reviews are much appreciated. It allows us to build upon the supports we provide families in their time of need and to hear from you! Consider leaving us one if we have assisted your family in the past ❤

STAFF PETS❤
We’re proud to introduce some very special members of our extended team—our staff pets! While they may not wear name tags or answer phones, they remind us every day of the importance of love, loyalty, and simply being present.

Today, meet RUBY!
• Official role: Prof Golf Cart Rider
• Fun fact: Ruby loves to play fetch, go on golf cart rides and is Grandpas special girl!
• Human Caregiver: Carolyn Bourdeau, our West Branch Admin, is grandma to this fur baby!

Pets have a special way of bringing comfort during life’s most tender moments—and we’re grateful for the joy they bring behind the scenes.
Stay tuned as we introduce more of our Comfort Crew 🐾

INCREDIBLE STORY ABOUT COMMUNITY, HONOUR & RESPECT ❤

Sometimes, the greatest gift we can give someone is simply showing up. In 2016, one of our sister Dignity Memorial Locations served a woman who had no one.

In 2016, an 83-year-old woman named Francine Stein passed away with no known family or friends expected to attend her funeral. When word spread through the community, something remarkable happened.

Nearly 30 strangers came to pay their respects. Some served as pallbearers. Others stood quietly through the service, simply to ensure she wouldn't be laid to rest alone. One attendee said they came because it was "an act of human decency." During the service, those present even learned that Francine had been a talented musician and a teacher at the prestigious Juilliard School—a reminder that every life has a story worth remembering. ❤
