Have you ever noticed this?

You stay busy all day.

You keep going.

You take care of everyone else.

You push your feelings aside.

Then bedtime comes.

And suddenly your mind is full.

Thoughts.

Worries.

Emotions.

This isn't a sign that something is wrong with you.

Often, it's simply the moment your nervous system finally has enough quiet space to bring forward what was waiting to be felt.

What if, instead of resisting it, you met it with curiosity?

✨ What emotion tends to show up most often for you at bedtime?

I'd love to hear in the comments.

Big hug,

Carol

One of the biggest misconceptions about tapping is that it's supposed to make difficult feelings disappear.

That's not the goal.

Tapping helps create safety in the nervous system so emotions can move through rather than stay stuck.

You don't need to force yourself to feel positive.

You don't need to make the emotion go away.

You only need to notice what's here.

Then gently tap.

Sometimes the shift is subtle.

A deeper breath.

A softer body.

A quieter mind.

Those small changes matter.

That's where healing begins.

Big hug,

Carol

Sometimes we treat emotions like obstacles.

Something to fix.

Something to get rid of.

Something standing between us and feeling better.

But emotions aren't problems.

They're information.

They're your nervous system's way of saying:

"Something here needs your attention."

When we stop fighting what we feel and begin listening with compassion, something often shifts.

Not because the emotion disappears.

But because we're no longer carrying the extra weight of resisting it.

Tonight, if an emotion shows up before sleep, try asking:

✨ What might this feeling be trying to tell me?

You don't need to solve it.

Just listen.

Big hug,

Carol

June’s Monthly Integration Call is coming up 🌙

From Awareness to Support: Notice, Name & Tap

This call is a gentle practice space where we’ll explore how to notice what is happening inside, name it with compassion, and use tapping to support the nervous system.

So many of us move through the day carrying stress, emotion, and body sensations we haven’t had time to understand.

Then bedtime comes…
and suddenly the nervous system has our attention.

This call is about learning to pause earlier.

To notice.
To name.
To tap.
To support what is here.

You do not have to know exactly what you’re feeling before you come.

That’s part of what we’ll practice together.

You can reserve your spot here:

So often, we want to support ourselves…

but we don’t actually know what we’re feeling yet.

We might know:

“I feel off.”
“I feel anxious.”
“I feel overwhelmed.”
“I can’t settle.”
“I don’t feel like myself.”

And sometimes that is the beginning.

Before support comes awareness.

Before tapping comes noticing.

Before change comes relationship.

In June’s Monthly Integration Call, we’re going to slow this down and practice a simple process:

Notice.
What is happening in my body, thoughts, emotions, images, or impulses?

Name.
Can I gently put words to what I’m aware of?

Tap.
Can I bring support to what is here, without trying to force it away?

This is not about doing it perfectly.

It’s about learning how to listen to your nervous system with more kindness and support.

Sometimes we get to the end of the day and sleep is hard to come.

Not because we didn’t try hard enough.

But because the body is still holding things from the day.

The tension.
The worry.
The overwhelm.
The things we didn’t have time to feel.
The things we didn’t even know how to name.

And this is where we start.

Not by forcing ourselves to relax.

But by gently noticing.

What am I aware of right now?
Can I name what is happening?
What would feel supportive?

In June’s Monthly Integration Call, we’re going to practice this together.

From Awareness to Support: Notice, Name & Tap

We’ll explore how to notice the 5 channels of expression, name what is happening, and use tapping as a gentle way to support the nervous system.

If this feels supportive, I’d love to have you join us.

Sometimes, we get to the end of the day and sleep feels so far away.

The body is tired, but not settled.
The mind is busy.
Something inside feels tense, restless, emotional, or just “off.”

And often, if we ask ourselves, “What am I feeling?”
we may not even know how to answer.

That makes sense.

Before we can name what we’re feeling, we first need to slow down enough to notice what is happening.

And before we can bring in support, we need to have a sense of what we’re supporting.

That is what we’ll be practicing in June’s Monthly Integration Call:

From Awareness to Support: Notice, Name & Tap

Together, we’ll gently explore:

Notice — what your body, emotions, thoughts, and nervous system may be expressing.
Name — what is here with curiosity, honesty, and compassion.
Tap — using EFT tapping as a supportive tool for stress, overwhelm, anxiety, and sleep.

No experience with tapping is needed.

There is nothing to do perfectly here.

This is a calm, supportive space to slow down, listen inward, and practice offering your nervous system support.

Call times:
Thursday, June 4th at 7pm Atlantic
Saturday, June 6th at 1pm Atlantic

It is the same call offered twice. You can attend either or both.

Recordings are included.

Have you ever been exhausted… but your body still wouldn’t let you rest?

This was the heart of a tapping video I created today after a member shared that she was waking in panic around 4 a.m., listening to her inner critic, and feeling angry with her nervous system.

And that question came through so clearly:

Why won’t my body let me rest?

In this gentle EFT tapping practice, we tap through sleep anxiety, panic, frustration, and the possibility that maybe your body needs support, not more pressure.

You can watch it here:
https://youtu.be/PZkFgb-U2bU?si=uOiywSe0E81--aI7

Go slowly.
Change the words if you need to.
And let this be one small moment of kindness toward your nervous system.

Big hug,
Carol

Sometimes sleep feels hard because your body is still carrying the stress of the day.

Even if you’re exhausted, your system may not feel settled enough to rest yet.

Your mind might be saying:

“I’m so tired. I just want to sleep.”

But your body might still be holding:

the conversation from earlier
the pressure to get everything done
the worry about tomorrow
the tension in your shoulders
the feeling that you never really got to exhale

And when your body still feels busy, sleep can feel far away.

This is why better sleep is not always about forcing yourself to relax.

Sometimes it begins with gently helping your body notice:

“This day is over now.”
“I don’t have to carry all of this into bed.”
“I can begin to soften.”
“I am allowed to rest.”

Maybe that support looks like placing a hand on your heart.

Maybe it looks like looking around the room and noticing where you are now.

Maybe it looks like a little tapping.

Maybe it looks like giving yourself a few quiet minutes before asking your body to fall asleep.

Sleep often becomes easier when the nervous system begins to feel supported.

Not rushed.

Not forced.

Supported.

Big hug,
Carol

What if better sleep began with helping your body settle at the end of the day?

A lot of people go to bed exhausted…

but their body still feels busy.

Their mind is racing.
Their shoulders are tense.
Their chest feels tight.
They feel tired, but not calm.

And when the body is still carrying the stress of the day, sleep can feel harder to reach.

So instead of trying to force sleep, what if you gently helped your body begin to settle?

Maybe with a quiet moment.
A slower pace.
A hand on your heart.
A little tapping.
Looking around the room and noticing that this moment is different from the day you just had.

Better sleep doesn’t always begin with doing more.

Sometimes it begins with helping your body know:

“We’re done for today.”
“We can soften now.”
“We can rest.”

Big hug,
Carol
