This week marks an exciting new chapter as I officially begin seeing clients in my new office space at 1100 Marleau Avenue, Suite 4, Cornwall (beside BMR).

I would also like to let everyone know that I am no longer practicing out of Spine Care
Plus and am now working independently from my own office.

My new space offers:
- More flexible scheduling, including evening and weekend appointments

- Plenty of natural light in a warm and welcoming environment

Couples counselling isn’t just for relationships that are falling apart; it’s for couples who want to understand each other better, communicate more clearly and feel more connected.

Grief isn’t just about losing someone to death.

It can show up after a breakup, the loss of a job, changes in your health, drifting friendships or even letting go of a version of your life you thought you’d have.

Grief is about loss in all its forms and sometimes, it doesn’t look like sadness. It can feel like irritability, numbness, confusion, guilt or even relief. There’s no “right” way to grieve.

Counselling can help you:
• Make sense of what you’re feeling
• Process complicated or unexpected emotions
• Create space to talk openly without judgment
• Learn ways to cope and move forward at your own pace

You don’t have to wait for things to feel unbearable to reach out. Support can meet you wherever you are. Grief deserves care, no matter what it looks like.

“Why can’t I just get rid of my anxiety?”

This is something I hear all the time.

Here’s the truth:
Your anxiety isn’t a flaw; it’s a protective response.

Your brain and body are wired to keep you safe. When they perceive stress, uncertainty or past patterns that felt unsafe, they activate a response to prepare you to stay alert, think ahead & not let your guard down.

The problem is, your system doesn’t always know the difference between real danger and learned danger.

So even when you’re technically safe, you might still feel:
– on edge
– overwhelmed
– stuck in your thoughts
– physically anxious (racing heart, tension, nausea, etc.)

And that can be exhausting…

Therapy isn’t about turning anxiety off,
It’s about helping your nervous system learn something new.

Together, we can work on:
– understanding what your anxiety is trying to do for you
– identifying the patterns it’s following
– gently teaching your body how to come back to safety
– building tools that actually work for you

Because real change doesn’t come from fighting your anxiety, it comes from understanding it.

You’re not broken, your system just learned to survive in a certain way but, it can learn something new.

What a wonderful afternoon at the Women’s High Tea event held at the Best Western celebrating the amazing women of Cornwall and SD&G!

It was such a lovely event filled with inspiring speakers, delicious treats and of course plenty of tea. Events like this are such a great reminder of how strong, supportive and inspiring our community of women truly is.

I had the pleasure of being there alongside Dr. Draper from Spine Care Plus. It was so nice to see so many wonderful women I already knew, while also having the chance to meet many amazing new women. I truly hope our paths cross again soon!

Thank you to the organizers for putting together such a beautiful event that brings women in our community together. Happy early international women’s day! 💕🫖🎀👗💐
