"Don't you miss being a real nurse?" - well folks, since becoming a foot care nurse I have expanded my nursing knowledge tenfold.
I take wound care clinics, I take offloading workshops, I am constantly learning and building my practice to help keep you safe and pain free.

I'm still a very good nurse: I just have a bit better work life balance, I don't have to work another short staffed night shift, and I get TIME with you in order to help you with ANY and ALL nursing questions.

I have never felt more competent as a nurse as I have since starting my own practice.

We are here to help.

Introducing Lorraine!
Lorraine has been working hard for both you and for me for quite a few months now!

She has an excellent attention to detail and has found her calling in foot care nursing. I am so beyond grateful and happy to have her here with us.

Lorraine does primarily Community and Facility Visits with about a day a week in office.

Lorraine & I are in Kimberley today all day but will be back in office tomorrow!

Unfortunately: Cost is higher than a pedicurist. Why?
Because we aren't a pedicurist.

No. We aren't just "trimming toenails" - we thoroughly inspect your foot, your gait, we note sore spots, we check your skin for lesions, lumps, deformities, we inspect your shoes and adjust them to offload pressure areas, we give nursing advice and nursing diagnoses, we help with referrals and help with mediation of those referrals, we prevent skin breakdown, pressure ulcers, infections, and most of all: we work HARD to keep you pain free.

I tell everyone: I am not in the business to own a Lamborghini. But I do want to stay in business long term, I want to help as many people as I can and I want to offer my staff a reasonable livable wage so that THEY can also help me help as many people as possible.

Life is expensive right now especially. We understand that. We offer multiple different price point services from basic maintenance to advanced and complex care.

Courtney is working today 9AM-1PM and can go through a pre-screening process with you so that we can make sure you are put in the right care category for your needs.

Now before I start a heated debate: Let me start by saying we have a wealth of talented, clean, well educated pedicurists in this town. One's I do trust with my own feet and my loved ones feet.

I researched them, I support them and in turn they support me. We recognize each others roles and cheer eachother on.

I am here to be your Nurse first. I am here for the weird questions the "does this look right to you?" and "This hurts please help" - They are there for the "make me look and feel beautiful"

Can I paint your nails? Sure. But you're bringing your own and I can't promise I won't get it on your knees.

My job first and foremost is to get you pain free. I offload sore spots, I correct funny shaped nails, and I work HARD to trouble shoot, adjust, correct, and occasionally re-correct these issues.

I will send referrals to your doctors, physios, pedorthists, chiro, wound care, case workers and everyone in between to ENSURE you get comfortable.

Let's get you comfortable.

We get asked OFTEN "Why so much paperwork?"
The answer?
Because we are a medical practice. Not a spa.

Just this week we had three pre-screenings done and only one that resulted in an actual booking. The other two? One we sent to their doctor for blood work and some additional testing and another we referred to a different type of practitioner.

By pre-screening we make sure you actually are getting the service you want. The last thing I want to do is book you in and charge you for a service you may not need.

Your intake package is done because, well, we are nurses after all. And our care sometimes goes beyond your feet. You get to sit in our chair for upwards of 45mins, lets get into anything and everything that may be bothering you. Our office has a WEALTH of knowledge, referrals and support systems.

I built this business with wholistic health care in mind.
