July 24th is Self Care Day.

I wanted to put this post in your feed as a reminder to put the phone down and take some time to do something for your physical or mental health.

Here are some examples:

Take a nap
Cook a meal (with leftovers to eat tomorrow)
Call a loved one
Take a walk
Wash your hair
Book an appointment you're avoiding
Check your moles (remember ABCDE)
Check on a neighbour
Read a chapter
Drink a glass of water
Deep breath for a few moments

Self care can be bubble baths and a good book. Self care can also be booking that hard health appointment and brushing your teeth.

Whatever self care looks like for you in this moment in your life, I hope you are able to practice some today
