The pharmacy is open while Patrick and I are taking vacation. Andy will be here until Friday and Nindy will be back on Monday for the next 2 weeks. We’ll return Sept 8th. It’s business as usual Monday to Friday 9-5:30 Closed 12:30-1 pm for lunch. Closed Labour Day Monday. Lots of new stuff in store and I just talked to Andy and it sounds like every day is going be seniors day!

Is it really that time of year again? It’s Fall Fair time and we will be closed for the parade as usual on Friday from 9:50 to 11:15 am to enjoy the floats, music and candy. You can always leave us a message on the answering machine and we’ll get back to you.

August long weekend is here! Reminding you the pharmacy will be closed Monday for the holiday.
Please leave us a message for prescription refills for pick up next week. Processing and wait times will be a bit longer for a few weeks due to a software changeover. Still working out the bugs in the system and adjusting . We would appreciate your extra patience and understanding during this transition.
On another note, you will hear a few new voices on the phone over the next few weeks . JOANNE is the new full time pharmacy assistant helping us now. And more good news…we are welcoming back our awesome tech Marjorie soon. Nindy will be the relief pharmacist coming in next week to give us a bit of a break.

If you are our patient, we are able to book an appointment for you with a virtual physician the same day. We know how challenging it has been for patients to become unattached the last 4-5 years. Yesterday was an amazing day. The appreciation we felt for being your number #1 pharmacists was overwhelming. Having the pharmacy buzzing again with patients chatting and catching up, like the days before COVID, made me realize something important. We restructured our pick-up process to ensure patient safety so only 1-2 people would be here at the same time. What I realized is the pharmacy is not just a place to pick up medicine, it has always been a social HUB and maybe one of a few places in someone’s week they get the opportunity to talk to people face to face. Maybe “Super Senior Day” will be a thing of the future: a time to pick up your prescriptions, chat more in depth with the pharmacist with a medication review, have a coffee, run into people you haven’t seen for awhile and maybe find the right spot for a few pieces on the puzzle board while you wait.
After chatting with Andy last night, we have put together a tentative summer hours schedule :
For June and part of July we will have temporary hours through the transition period.
Patrick and I will keep keep the pharmacy open 3 days a week starting June 1st.
Tues 10-2
Wed 10-2
Thursday 10-5:30
*WE WILL CLOSE JULY 1st and for our usual VACATION WEEK JULY 6-13th*

Effective July 20th, the NEW regular hours we propose are:
Monday to Friday
9:30 am to 6:00 p.m.
Closed for lunch 12:30-1:00 p.m.

One last reminder: if we have transferred your refills already or you have gotten a new prescription sent elsewhere, we can easily transfer the prescriptions back at anytime.
We will be accepting NEW PATIENTS in July which is something we haven’t been able to do for 5 years. Spread the word and have a great summer. We look forward to seeing you.

Good morning . It’s Friday !
It’s a day to celebrate our semi-retirement and a new era of providing pharmacy care to you. There will be CO-OP cake, refreshments and snacks to celebrate over 50 years. It’s your first opportunity to meet Andy, the new pharmacist, joining the team. We are grateful he is making it possible for the pharmacy to remain open to continue to serve you. Good morning to all of our patients. We will have regular operating hours this week.
APPRECIATION DAY
This FRIDAY after 3:00, we will be celebrating OVER 50 years providing care to our patients. We are truly thankful for your support and for choosing Clinic Drug Store everyday. Pop by to enjoy CO-OP cake (cupcakes), refreshments and snacks. Andy, the new pharmacist and manager to be, will be joining us.

From June 1st to 12th, we will have TEMPORARY operating hours to ensure you have time to pick up prescriptions that are due to refill.

Insurance allow for early refills as follows:
Fair Pharmacare 14 days
Assure 24 days
Greenshield 18 days
Pacific Blue Cross 22 days
**Please ensure you get refills to last to July .
If you are not sure you will have enough medications for the next 6 weeks, please call us and we can help figure it out.
Please leave a telephone message if you require prescriptions outside of these hours.
We are SO very happy to keep our doors open and continue to help our patients . Please help us pass the message along that we will be staying open !

We want to thank all of our patients for all of your appreciation these past few weeks. As we announced late in April, Clinic Drug Store will remain open . We are working out the details and will have a temporary change to hours June 1st to 12th . Please ensure you refill your prescriptions and have a supply to last to the end of June. Call us for more details.
