🌺🌴 Aloha from Four Seasons Lodge! 🌴🌺

Our latest Travel & Taste adventure transported residents to the Hawaiian Islands for an afternoon filled with tropical fun, delicious food, and great company.

Residents enjoyed a Hawaiian-inspired food truck meal, took part in a festive luau celebration, and experienced a taste of Hawaiian culture.

Travel & Taste continues to be a resident favourite, offering opportunities to explore different cultures, cuisines, and traditions while creating meaningful moments and wonderful memories together.

Sweet treats and great company made for some wonderful summer memories at Four Seasons Lodge! ☀️💙

Residents recently enjoyed two fun-filled activities that brought plenty of smiles and laughter. During our Campfire Night, everyone gathered outdoors to enjoy s'mores, music, conversation, and the cozy atmosphere of an evening around the fire.

We also celebrated National Milkshake Day with a delicious afternoon of sweet treats, where residents created their own custom milkshakes with a variety of flavours and toppings. It was the perfect way to cool off while getting creative and enjoying time together.

Whether it's sharing stories around a campfire or building the perfect milkshake, these special moments help create meaningful connections and make Four Seasons Lodge feel even more like home.

On Friday, we celebrated Father's Day with a special BBQ at Four Seasons Lodge. Residents enjoyed a delicious meal, great company, and the opportunity to spend time with family and friends on a beautiful day.

A comfortable chair can make all the difference in helping a space feel like home. 💙

Yesterday, residents at Four Seasons Lodge had the opportunity to test four different armchair options that are being considered for our new 96-bed long-term care home. Residents tried each chair and shared their thoughts on comfort, support, accessibility, and overall function.

Resident feedback is an important part of the planning process. After all, this is their home, and we want the spaces we create to reflect their needs, comfort, and everyday experiences.

We're also inviting team members, patients, families, volunteers, and friends of our residents to help us choose the best option. The chair samples are on display in the "Sunroom", located in the hallway near the Four Seasons Lodge entrance, and feedback forms are available for anyone who would like to participate.

Please remember that the colours and fabrics of the display chairs are only samples. We are looking for feedback on their form, comfort, support, and functionality, as the final colours and finishes will be selected later.

Thank you to everyone who is helping us create welcoming, comfortable spaces for residents in our new Four Seasons Lodge. Every piece of feedback brings us one step closer to making our new home the very best it can be.

This month, Four Seasons Lodge residents travelled to Syria through our popular Travel & Taste program. 🌍🍽️

Residents were joined by one of our wonderful volunteers, Alaa, who shared her culture, traditions, and the rich history behind several traditional Syrian dishes.

During the session, residents learned how the dishes were prepared, observed the cooking process, and even had the opportunity to lend a hand in creating the meal that was later served at dinner.

A heartfelt thank you to Alaa for sharing her time, knowledge, and culinary talents with our residents. They thoroughly enjoyed learning about Syrian culture and experiencing the flavours and traditions that make it so special. 💙

🌷🐣 Last week, residents at Four Seasons Lodge enjoyed a wonderful Easter celebration filled with festive decorations, beautiful spring flowers, a delicious dinner, and of course plenty of sweet desserts!

It was a lovely opportunity to gather, share a meal, and celebrate the season together. Thank you to our team for helping create such a warm and joyful day for our residents. 💛
