This month, Four Seasons Lodge residents travelled to Syria through our popular Travel & Taste program. ๐๐ฝ๏ธ
Residents were joined by one of our wonderful volunteers, Alaa, who shared her culture, traditions, and the rich history behind several traditional Syrian dishes.
During the session, residents learned how the dishes were prepared, observed the cooking process, and even had the opportunity to lend a hand in creating the meal that was later served at dinner.
A heartfelt thank you to Alaa for sharing her time, knowledge, and culinary talents with our residents. They thoroughly enjoyed learning about Syrian culture and experiencing the flavours and traditions that make it so special. ๐
