Today, we honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and the families and communities who continue to carry their stories. A time to listen, learn, reflect, and recognize the ongoing journey toward reconciliation.

This year’s Orange Shirt Society design was created by a Grade 2 student from Coldstream, BC. It represents pure happiness and innocence, the way every childhood should be.

We recognize that we work on land that is located on the shared, traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the scəw̓aθən (Tsawwassen) and other Coast Salish Peoples.
