Most people treat where it hurts.
That’s the mistake.
Pain is loud.
But the source is often quiet.
Your neck feels tight → you attack the neck
Your low back aches → you dig into the low back
And it works… for a bit.
Then it comes back.
Not because your body is “broken”
But because it’s adapting.
The body doesn’t work in isolated parts.
It works in patterns.
Tension is distributed.
Compensation is strategic.
Nothing happens in isolation.
So when you only chase symptoms…
You’re playing short-term relief.
Real progress comes from asking better questions:
• What’s this area compensating for?
• Where is movement missing?
• What’s overworking vs underworking?
• How is tension being distributed through the system?
This is where most people plateau.
They keep treating the same spot
Instead of addressing the pattern creating it.
A more comprehensive approach isn’t about doing more.
It’s about seeing more.
Movement
Structure
Coordination
Awareness
That’s where change actually happens.
If something keeps coming back…
It’s not random.
It’s a pattern.
And patterns can be changed
If you’re tired of chasing the same tension every week,
it might be time to look deeper.
