GOOD NEWS to our clients 📣📣

NOW we provide rapid Strep A throat test and treatment. It takes 15 minutes to get the result and treatment if needed☺️

**A rapid strep test involves swabbing the throat and running a test on the swab. The test quickly shows if group A strep is causing the illness.
**If the test is positive, our on-site prescribing pharmacist can prescribe antibiotics.

📣With the good news that the evacuation order of the Town Drayton Valley and parts of Brazeau County is partially lifted and staggered community re-entry can now occur safelv!!

📣We are glad to announce that Malone IDA
Pharmacy will reopen and service the community starting from tomorrow Wednesday, May 17th, regular hours 9am-5:30pm or maybe later if demand requires.

**Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA)
pharmacists and Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) will be on-site or virtually -if needed - to help in assessing and prescribing Rxs require for Minor aliments and Diabetes' care.

**Also, we are your one stop «Travel Health Clinic » in the Town of Drayton Valley. Patients can have their pre-travel consultation, vaccinations and travel prescriptions filled.

We are open Monday - Friday 9-5:30 pm.

Requirements for Immunization:

- Age 12-17 only eligible for 3 doses at this time. Certain Immunocompromising conditions who have received 3 doses are eligible for their 4th dose.
- Age of 18 and older eligible for 4th dose.
- At least 5 months apart to get 3rd/booster dose.
- You must not be sick at time of vaccines.
