🌧️ Father’s Day BBQ Postponed 🌧️

Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans for us today! Due to the rain, we have decided to postpone our Father’s Day BBQ and Classic Car Show.

After all, those beautiful classic cars prefer to shine—not take a mud bath! 🚗💦 We figured their owners might appreciate keeping them clean and sparkling a little longer.

📅 New Date: Thursday, June 25th, 2026
🕕 Time: 6:00 PM

We look forward to celebrating with our residents, families, and the Northern Thunder Car Club on a hopefully sunnier evening. Thank you for your understanding, and we can’t wait to see everyone there!

🎉 Seniors Week Bingo Fun! 🎉

Friday’s Seniors Week Bingo was filled with laughter, excitement, and some fantastic special prizes! Residents enjoyed a fun afternoon of friendly competition as they tried their luck and celebrated each win.

Along with bingo, we took some time to hear a few words of wisdom from our residents. Their life experiences, advice, and stories were a wonderful reminder of the knowledge and perspective they bring to our community every day.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the afternoon so special. 💙

🥞✨ What a great way to kick off the morning! ✨🥞

Vicki and Cara were in bright and early today making homemade waffles for the residents in our community! The delicious aroma of fresh waffles filled the halls as residents enjoyed a special breakfast with their favorite toppings.

From whipped cream and strawberries to bananas and plenty of smiles, it was a wonderful way to start the day and bring everyone together for a fun and tasty breakfast.

🧇💛 Nothing beats homemade waffles and great company!

🎉 What a Wonderful Start to Seniors Week! 🎉

We kicked off Seniors Week with an afternoon full of smiles, music, and celebration! A huge thank you to Linda for providing fantastic entertainment and helping create such a fun and lively atmosphere for our residents. 🎶💃

A special thank you to IGA for generously providing the delicious cake that everyone enjoyed. 🍰 Your support helped make our celebration even more special!

Residents spent the afternoon singing along, visiting with friends, and making wonderful memories together. ❤️

This is just the beginning of a week dedicated to celebrating the incredible seniors who make our community such a special place. We look forward to all the exciting events still to come!

Yesterday’s outing was one to remember! 🎭✨

Our residents had a wonderful time visiting the Eleanor Pickup Arts Centre where we watched the play A Wolf in the Valley.

The performance told the story of the first murder in Drayton Valley back in 1922, and everyone really enjoyed the history, storytelling, and talented cast. It was a great afternoon filled with conversation, laughter, and a wonderful community experience. ❤️

Seeing families share special memories and milestones with our residents means so much to us. Watching Acelee grow over this past year has been such a joy for everyone at Points West. From visiting as just a tiny newborn to celebrating her 1st birthday surrounded by residents and staff who adore her — it’s been incredibly special to be part of her journey. 🎂🎉

Building these meaningful relationships and becoming part of each other’s lives is what makes our community feel like family. Thank you for allowing us to celebrate these beautiful moments together. 💖

Happy 1st Birthday again, Acelee! We can’t wait to watch you continue to grow. 🥰

We had such a wonderful time celebrating Mother’s Day with our residents and families! 💐💕
There were lots of smiles, laughter, treats, and special moments shared throughout the day. We were also able to capture some beautiful photos that we know everyone will cherish.

We will be printing the photos and placing them in frames for the residents to keep as a special memory from the celebration. 📸🖼️

Congratulations as well to the residents who won our Mother’s Day door prizes! 🎉🎁 We hope you enjoy your special gifts.
