Parking Lot Update 🚗

Line painting is now complete — thank you for your patience during the process.

Please note the new traffic flow:
• Main parking area (in front of the clinic, pharmacy, and diagnostic imaging): Enter from the east side off 50th Street. Exit is right turn only southbound onto 50th Street.
• West parking area: One-way from south to north.

Tip: If you’re approaching from south of the clinic, we recommend circling around to enter from the east entrance. These changes, along with the additional stalls we’ve added, should help reduce congestion.

Overflow parking remains available across the street. 🅿️

Dear Shale family, the parking lot at the clinic and next to Near Nerd will be closed to all traffic tomorrow. Contractors will be on site tomorrow to paint parking g lines. Thank you for understanding.

Was great to welcome on Youtube last week. Here a link to the Interesting video they created about Drayton Valley and its history. The Shale Medical Clinic sits on the location of one of the Town's first gas stations that fuelled the Town's 1950's oil boom and later became a car dealership. We're proud to call this community our home!

Now hiring — Nursing roles (Drayton Valley & Evansburg)

We’re expanding team-based primary care to improve local access, continuity, and timely follow-up for patients in our communities. We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

Drayton Valley (Shale Medical Clinic)
• 2 × Registered Nurse (RN) – Team-Based Primary Care (0.9 & 0.7 FTE): chronic disease follow-ups, results review, protocol-led visits, patient education, and physician support with brief daily case review.
• 1 × Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Rapid Access Clinic (0.9 FTE): protocol-led same-day care for minor concerns (e.g., UTI, sore throat, wound checks, ear flush, injections, suture removal).

Evansburg (Towers Medical Clinic)
• 1 × Registered Nurse (RN) – Team-Based Primary Care (0.4-0.6 FTE) option to increase: chronic disease check-ins, results/refills, women’s health support, and rapid-access minor concerns—working closely with physicians to keep care moving efficiently.
