Vehicle Fails to Stop for School Bus.

Back to school means buses are on the roads transporting our youth.

Unfortunately, on the first week of school, Enforcement Services has charged a driver for failing to stop for a school bus with red lights activated and stop sign deployed.

The driver has been charged and if convicted faces a penalty of $567 and 6 demerit points.

National Drowning Prevention Week 2026 starts on Sunday, July 19!

Each day of NDPW focuses on a different water safety topic, and we'll be sharing safety tips for each one!

July 22 - Swim to Survive
July 23 - Child Supervision
July 24 - Alcohol & Substance Use
July 25 - Boating Safety & PFDs

In Canada, National Drowning Prevention Week is held during the third week of July, as that's the time of year when we tend to see the most drowning incidents.

Starting March 19, 2026 at 12:00 PM, ALL GRAVEL ROADS in Yellowhead County are restricted to 75% of legal axle weight, 24 hours/day, unless otherwise posted.

Subdivisions
