🌼 Allergy Season Reminder 🌼

With allergy season in full swing, now is a great time to check your EpiPen®!

If you or a family member has a severe allergy to:
🐝 Bees, wasps, or hornets
🥜 Peanuts or tree nuts
🥛 Milk
🥚 Eggs
🐟 Fish or shellfish
💊 Certain medications

Take a moment to:

✅ Check the expiry date on your EpiPen®
✅ Make sure you know where it is
✅ Confirm it hasn't been exposed to extreme heat or cold
✅ Review how to use it

👶 Have a child with an EpiPen Junior®?

EpiPen Junior is generally intended for children weighing 15–30 kg (33–66 lb).

If your child is now over 30 kg (66 lb), they may need to transition to the regular EpiPen®. If you're unsure, speak with your pharmacist or healthcare provider.

"Generic Ozempic coming soon?"
What patients should know 👀

You’ve likely heard of Ozempic® — one of the most talked-about medications in recent years. Did you know a generic version of Ozempic (semaglutide) may soon be arriving in Canada?

This could potentially improve affordability and access for many patients. There are still more details to come, including timing and coverage, but we’ll be keeping a close eye on it and keeping our community informed.
