What beautiful weather.
What amazing surroundings.
What (good sports and fun-loving) great guests.

I know it’s summer…

But who is ready for a little History 101 with a few interesting twists and turns?

Our Seniors’ Centre for Excellence Harriston Dining Program is happening on Wednesday August 12th, and we are pretty sure you don’t want to miss this one.

After all, we not only looking forward to a delicious dinner, we have the (always interesting) Programming Supervisor at the Wellington County Museum and Archives, Katie Clarke, joining us to to share stories about how life revolved around the Hearth—the Heart of the Home.

Katie will peel back a layer of Wellington County history and give us a glimpse into the hardships and happiness that happened around pioneer hearths. Oh, and if anyone is into a few “guessing games,” this one’s for you.

Book your spot today. We promise there won’t be any homework, but we do promise a great meal and presentation. Get ready to remember some and learn much!

Well it seems we all want to have tea at the train station with all our Seniors' Centre for Excellence friends!

We thought this might happen, and we are thrilled.
The good news (for us) is that we are filled to the brim, like a too full cup of tea!

The not so good news for you (if you haven't signed up) is that we are filled to the brim and cannot take any more reservations for the Victorian Tea at our beloved Palmerston Railway Museum.
