This workshop is for Cowichan Youth and Cowichan Connections ages 12–18.

It is an opportunity for youth to learn practical skills like safe knife handling, filleting, and step-by-step preservation techniques while exploring the history of canning within the Cowichan community.

We are deeply honoured to once again welcome master knowledge canner Gary Johnnie who will be leading this session which includes all necessary materials and salmon.
