☆☆☆☆☆ An Update From My Heart ☆☆☆☆☆

To all the beautiful souls who connect with me here:

I'm pressing pause on the schedule and clearing my calendar for the near future.

Nothing to worry or be concerned about!

The physical vessel just needs a little mystical fine-tuning. ;)

I’m undergoing some routine testing to see why my heart rhythm is dancing to its own chaotic drumbeat right now, and I need to give it my full, undivided energy.

To be honest, the forced rest is a bit of a cosmic test for me! My Shepards, Max and Karma, are absolutely missing our hikes—and trust me, so am I...!

Meanwhile, poor Cam has taken on a whole new set of duties. On top of his usual tasks and responsibilities, he is now tackling all of mine, acting as my official chauffeur, and carrying the heavy burden of worrying about me.

He deserves (another!) gold medal (and a very long nap) right now!

I am also deeply missing being at The Blue Caterpillar Emporium! But, oh my goodness, the universe has shown me so much grac e through this.

I am profoundly grateful to Darcie and Lana ~and others! ~ for stepping up in such a massive way to keep the magic alive.

Consider this a brief spiritual recess. I fully expect to jump back in shortly, completely recharged and ready to tuen my attention back to being of service.

Thank you all so much for the immense love, magic, and support you always send my way.

Hold down the fort and I’ll see you back here very soon!

There's rarely a day that passes when I don't realize just how blessed I am to call this beautiful Island home.

Where I live in Shawnigan Lake, we are surrounded by acres and acres of rainforest. Endless trails. Endless birdsong. Endless opportunities to remember how connected where are to all of it

Over the years, we've shared this little corner of the world with deer, elk, cougars, bears, mink, owls, hawks, eagles, raccoons... and countless other wild neighbours. Seeing them is simply part of life.

But every once in a while, one of them does something just a little out of the ordinary. Something that makes me stop. Pay attention.

Those are the moments when I know I'm receiving a nudge. A reminder. Perhaps a little guidance or insight from Spirit.

Last week, Cam and I watched a young black bear wander across our field. It paused for just a moment, long enough for me to snap a quick photo before it hustled off into the trees; smart enough to move on when encouraged to do so.

Just a bear being a bear.

The very next day, armed with my bear spray, whistle and jingling bear bells (well, actually witch bells...same difference), I headed out to walk the dogs.

A twig snapped just ahead of me. Around a corner, behind vegetation where I couldn't see the cause.

I remember thinking, Too small to be a bear...

Then I looked up.

Definitely a bear.

An old fellow. Big. Grizzled. Moving slowly and deliberately through the forest. He lumbered a short distance away before turning to look back at us.

There was no aggression. Only quiet curiosity.

Even when Karma—true to form—managed to get within about ten feet of him before I could call her back (I'd always joked she'd take on a bear to protect me... and apparently I wasn't wrong), he simply watched her with calm curiosity.

He was magnificent.

One ear flopped over, giving him the look of an enormous, friendly black dog. For one ridiculous moment, all I could think was, I want to hug him.

Thankfully, common sense won.

After just standing there looking at each other for what felt like hours but was a good minute anyway , I turned with the dogs beside me (big ol' Max stood BEHIND me the whole time), and carried on with my walk.

I heard that big ol' bear slowly meander away in the opposite direction. Unhurried. Unconcerned.

And as I continued my walk amongst the towering cedar and fir trees, I knew that the mighty spirit of Brother Bear chose to walk beside me that day.

Sometimes, a bear is just a bear.

Sometimes, a bear is a beautiful message.

Yesterday was pure magic!

What an incredible afternoon at the Mary Winspear Centre as we joined together for a live mediumship demonstration, sharing evidence, messages, healing, laughter, tears, and those beautiful moments that remind us that love truly never dies.

There is something extraordinary about standing before a room filled with open hearts and witnessing the connections that unfold between this world and the next. Every demonstration is unique, and yesterday was no exception. We were honoured to share messages from Spirit with so many wonderful people and to witness the comfort, validation, and joy that those connections can bring.

Last year, something happened on stage that still gives me goosebumps.

More than 300 seats filled the theatre at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney for a sold-out afternoon of spirit communication.

I was one of four mediums standing on that stage, alongside friends and colleagues Rev. Nicole Powell , Lana Ryan , and Arlene Mills.

It was my turn.

I was working with a woman in the audience, connecting with her dearly departed grandparents in Spirit. As the evidence unfolded, the grandparents showed me quite clearly that there was a connection between the young woman and the Every Child Matters movement. I knew this woman was passionate about it... an advocate, a voice, a heart deeply connected to it.

But then something strange happened.

I went to say the words, and they simply wouldn't come.

Nothing.

My mind scrambled. I was personally familiar with the movement, could see the bright orange of the t-shirts connected to it, but the words would not come.

For a heartbeat or two, I hesitated. Then I found myself saying instead:

"The orange t-shirt movement..."

The recipient immediately understood and agreed. And suddenly, as if a door had opened, the words flowed.

"Every Child Matters."

I could say the words I couldn't find just a moment before.

I remember thinking that was unusual, but I carried on.

Two readings later, one of my colleagues was working with a woman whose husband had passed. Beautiful evidence came through — details that touched her heart in all the ways Spirit so often does.

At the end, she asked if she could share something.

Earlier that morning, she had been speaking with her husband in Spirit. She told him all the things he could bring through that day to prove he was still with her. Story after story. Sign after sign.

About ten things onto her list, she suddenly stopped and said:

"You know what? Forget all of that. Its getting confusing. Just get someone to say 'orange t-shirt'... and I'll know you're here."

Everyone in the room gasped, including us up on stage. Ohhhh, the intelligence of Spirit!

You truly cannot make this stuff up!

Sometimes Spirit whispers quietly.

And sometimes, Spirit walks right onto a stage and leaves every one of us sitting there with tears in our eyes and goosebumps on our arms.

And we get to do it again.

Less than a month to go!

More than 2/3 of tickets have already found their way into waiting hands, and my heart is overflowing with excitement to step onto the stage agai!

Last year, alongside Rev Nicole Powell, Arlene Mills, Lana Ryan and myself, we gathered for a completely sold-out evening at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney.

For two beautiful hours, Spirit moved through the room like a sacred current — bringing messages, memories, healing and evidence that love never truly leaves us. Mothers and fathers, siblings, grandparents, dear friends and kindred souls stepped forward from beyond the veil to remind us that the bonds we share transcend worlds.

There were tears that softened hearts, laughter that lifted spirits, and moments of pure magic that left us all in awe.

And now... we are opening the doorway once again.

We're baaaaack!

Last May, Rev Nicole Powell , Arlene Mills, Lana Ryan and I took to the stage for a sold out show at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney.

For two hours, we shared evidence of life-after-life, bringing through moms and dads, siblings, friends, grandparents and more.

There was a lot of laughter and a lot tears!

And we're back to do it again!
