We have something in the works to make up for missing this winter. Unfortunately we had some events that didnt make sleigh rides possible this year. But stay tuned as our farm has changed directions and im excited to share our journey with everyone soon.

That being said my one hint is we have a party coming up! And for anyone who has been here in the past knows we can throw a party!!

Did you know that horses mourn? Not the same way that a human does but in their own way. The feeling being out with the big boys is a somber one. They both got some extra loving and scratches today. They were seeking out human companionship today just wanting to be close with a quiet energy. The loss of Bubba has affected them as well

Today was a sad day at the farm. Unfortunately Bubba passed away today. Anyone who came for sleigh rides last year would remember him. He was alot of the children favorite. Bubba was a gentle giant who knew nothing but love while he was here. He enjoyed his summer of green pastures and retirement.
I will get back to messages in a couple of days as we grieve his loss.

**Quick update**
Thank you everyone for the messages. I will respond to each and every one tomorrow. We just got back from a little vacation.
So even though we have snow we still need a good base so the sleigh and horses dont sink. Im hoping if this weather keeps up to tentatively open around the 19th of December 🤞 just in time for Christmas. In the meantime enjoy a picture of Loki saying hi ☺️

We have been getting many messages about sleigh rides this year...
Yes we are doing sleigh rides again!!!! We are just waiting for the snow to fall and make a good base then we will be opening up our books for bookings. We do have a new team, Thor and Loki, so we are very excited for everyone to come and meet these gentle guys!

Why are horses a release for people?

Horses are a release for people because they strip life back to its simplest, most honest form.
In a world full of noise, emails, deadlines, expectations, horses remind us that real communication isn’t about words. It’s about presence. It’s about energy, intention, awareness.

When you’re with a horse, your words mean nothing, but your actions, your body language, your energy? That’s everything. You can’t fake confidence with a horse. You can’t lie with your posture. You can’t manipulate with charm or excuses. Horses reflect back exactly who you are in that moment, your fear, your calm, your frustration, your peace.

That’s why working with horses is 90% self-reflection. They force you to get quiet. To slow down. To pay attention not only to them, but to yourself. Your breathing, your posture, your thoughts. They draw you out of your head and into your body, into the present.

It takes us back to a time when survival, connection, and trust weren’t built on promises or conversations. They were built on consistency, energy, and respect. Horses remind us how to just be, without the layers of complication life piles on.
