Breast density is an important part of breast health, but many people may not know what it means or why it matters.

Breast density describes the amount of dense tissue in the breast compared with fatty tissue. It can affect how breast cancer appears on a mammogram and is one of the factors considered when determining breast screening needs.

Kept warm with excitement! The MIC Golf Tournament was a wonderful day spent connecting, making new friends, and creating lasting memories.

Moving beyond structure to considering function; while MRI shows what the brain looks like, PET CT shows how it works by mapping glucose metabolism in order to detect neurodegenerative patterns which are often missed using conventional imaging alone.
