September 30 is recognized in Canada as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. It is a time for humble reflection, learning, and honoring the experiences of Indigenous Peoples, particularly the Survivors of residential schools and their families.

Linda Anderson joined us at Kensington to share her knowledge and stories about Indigenous history and culture, giving our community an opportunity to learn, listen and reflect as we recognize the Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

We’re grateful to Linda and her family for sharing this meaningful learning opportunity with our community, as well as for sharing music with our residents.
