🦴 Struggling with osteoarthritis pain? Managing your weight might be one of the most powerful tools in your toolkit.

Excess weight puts added pressure on your joints — especially your knees, hips, and lower back. Even small weight changes can make a big difference: for every pound lost, that’s up to 4 pounds of pressure off your knees with every step. 😮

At Recovr, we work with patients in North Edmonton to manage osteoarthritis through:
✅ Movement-based therapy
✅ Pain management strategies
✅ Supportive education, including lifestyle and weight management tips

You don’t have to live with daily joint pain. Small changes = big relief.

🏃‍♀️ Dealing with nagging pain during or after your runs? Your tight quads might be the culprit.

When your quadriceps are too tight, they can reduce flexibility, shorten your stride, and throw off your biomechanics — all of which can lead to pain and increased risk of injury over time.
Whether it’s knee pain, hip discomfort, or just feeling off while running, your quads might need some attention.

At Recovr, we help runners in North Edmonton improve mobility, relieve pain, and build strength where it matters most — so you can get back to running pain-free. 💪

Let’s loosen things up. Your stride will thank you.

For over 2,000 years, cupping has been used to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and promote healing. But how does it work? The suction created by the cups increases blood flow to the treated area, helping to release tension, detoxify tissues, and kickstart your body’s natural recovery process. 🩹✨

At Recovr Physiotherapy in North Edmonton, we love helping people discover how this time-tested technique can make a difference in their recovery journey.

Have you tried cupping therapy before? What was your experience like? Let us know in the comments!
