This sweet little one came in with a combination of feeding and comfort concerns.
History revealed breech positioning during pregnancy, which can sometimes be associated with increased tension patterns and positional preferences after birth.
Parents also noticed a strong tendency to favour the right side, including head positioning and overall comfort with turning in one direction more than the other.
Additional concerns included:
🤱 Poor latch during feeding: difficulty achieving and maintaining an effective latch, leading to frustration during feeds and less efficient feeding sessions.
💨 Gassiness and discomfort: parents reported increased gas and signs of tummy discomfort, especially following feeds.
Today’s visit included a gentle, age-appropriate assessment looking at movement patterns, positioning preferences, comfort, and areas of tension.
Care focused on supporting:
✨ Improved neck and body mobility.
✨ More balanced movement and positioning.
✨ Supporting parents with education and home strategies
Every care plan is individualized to the child’s presentation and family goals 🤍
