OCD doesn’t sound dramatic from the outside.

But inside?
It’s constant. Loud. Convincing.

And the hardest part— it feels like listening to it is the responsible thing to do.

That’s what keeps kids and teens stuck.

Not because they’re weak.
Not because they don’t “get it.”

But because OCD is really, really good at pretending to be important.

The goal isn’t to get rid of the thoughts. It’s to change the relationship to them.

And that’s a skill that can be learned. 🤍

Today is International Trans Day of Visibility. 🏳️‍⚧️

At Green Door, we want every child, teen, and parent who walks through our doors to feel seen, safe, and respected for who they are.

For trans and gender-diverse kids, visibility matters—but so does protection, understanding, and support.

To the parents learning, unlearning, and showing up for your child:
You don’t have to have all the answers to be a safe place.
Curiosity, love, and willingness go a long way.

To trans youth:
You deserve to be exactly who you are—no shrinking, no hiding, no explaining your worth.

And to our community:
Creating mentally healthy spaces means making room for every identity to exist openly and safely.
