Different ages, different backgrounds, different chapters of life.

Some came to heal. Some came to reconnect with themselves. Some came for adventure, and some simply needed a break from everyday life.

But we all came together for one reason… to SHINE. ✨

There’s something pretty fu***ng beautiful about bringing women together who may have never crossed paths otherwise.

And this is just the beginning of our week together in Costa Rica. 🇨🇷

✨ WE'VE BEEN NOMINATED!!! ✨

We are so excited to share that Parati Sacred Wellness has been nominated for the 2027 Canadian Choice Awards in the Health & Wellness Services category for Edmonton! ❤️

For those who have been following our journey, you know that Parati started as a yoga studio with a vision of bringing people together through movement, healing and connection.

In 2025, we had the incredible honour of winning Best Yoga Studio in Edmonton!

Since then, Parati Sacred Wellness has continued to grow and evolve into something so much bigger than a yoga studio.

Today, we offer yoga, meditation, sound healing, wellness workshops, transformational retreats, ceremonies, and experiences that encourage people to slow down, reconnect with themselves and make their well-being a priority.

While our offerings have grown, our purpose has never changed. We believe wellness is so much more than what happens on a yoga mat. It's about creating space for yourself, finding your community, embracing who you are and giving yourself permission to live a life that feels good to YOU.

We are incredibly grateful for every person who has walked through our doors, attended an event, joined us on a retreat, shared our work or supported us along the way.

We successfully hosted our first SHINE Facilitator Exchange Retreat with nine beautiful women coming together to share their gifts.

We learned so many different things from one another, shared different techniques and healing modalities, laughed a lot, experienced some beautiful healing, and created new friendships along the way.

We learned a lot from our first weekend, and we are excited to take what worked and make the next one even better.

Our next SHINE Facilitator Exchange will be December 4–6 for our Heal the Healers Weekend.

For this weekend, we will only be accepting group sessions rather than one-on-one offerings. Each facilitator will have up to 2–2.5 hours to share their gift with the group.

The cost is $300 for the entire weekend, and the hot tub and sauna will be available for everyone to enjoy.

We will once again do our meals potluck style, with everyone contributing throughout the weekend and shared beds. Room for cots, or air mattresses.

The whole idea behind this weekend is simple. You come and share your gift, and in return, you spend the weekend being showered with the gifts of other women.

This weekend, 10 women gathered for our very first SHINE Facilitator Exchange Retreat Weekend, with one intention at the heart of it all… to heal the healers. ✨

Each woman came into this space carrying her own powerful gifts, talents, experiences and medicine. We all hold space in different ways, we all have different things to offer, and I think that is what made this weekend so beautiful. We had the opportunity to experience one another’s gifts, learn from each other, share what we know and also allow ourselves to receive.

One of the biggest intentions I had when creating this weekend was that we don’t compete, we witness and celebrate one another. Another woman’s gifts don’t take away from mine, and mine don’t take away from hers. There is room for all of us to SHINE, and there is so much we can learn when we allow ourselves to truly see and support the women standing beside us.

We created a space where we could cry, laugh, dance, rest, be vulnerable, have real conversations and simply be ourselves. A space where the women who are so often holding everyone else could put some of that down and allow themselves to be held too.

But more than anything, I wanted this weekend to be about uplifting one another and reminding each other just how worthy we are. Worthy of taking up space. Worthy of sharing our gifts. Worthy of being seen. Worthy of receiving support. Worthy of resting. Worthy of the same love and care that we so freely pour into everyone else.

There was something really fu***ng beautiful about watching women celebrate other women without comparison or competition. Just genuine support, connection, collaboration and a whole lot of “I see you, sister.”

My heart is so full after this weekend and I am incredibly grateful to every woman who trusted this vision, showed up as herself and shared a piece of her gifts with us.

This is what SHINE is about — when we allow ourselves to SHINE, we give the women around us permission to SHINE too. ✨

There is so much behind the scenes that goes into creating a SHINE retreat — the ideas, the planning, the designing, the marketing, and all the little details that bring it to life.

I’m looking at our SHINE in Costa Rica merch and feeling so grateful. Grateful that I get to dream up these experiences, create something from the heart, and share it with the beautiful women who are coming along with me.

I can’t believe we leave in two weeks. Costa Rica, we’re almost there. 🇨🇷✨

This Sunday, we’re gathering around the fire. 🔥

Our "Reclaim Your Power" Post Full Moon Firewalking & Sound Healing ceremony is almost here, and I’m so excited to share it with you.

If you’ve been feeling the pull to come but you’re nervous about walking on fire… I get it. You don’t have to show up fearless. We’ll prepare together, and you’ll be supported through the experience.

We’ll make space to release what you’re done carrying, walk the fire, and close with drumming and sound healing. Come as you are. 🤍

Happy Fall Equinox, beautiful souls. 🍂

Today marks the balance between light and darkness—a sacred pause before we slowly move into the darker, quieter months.

The Fall Equinox reminds us that balance doesn’t mean having everything perfectly figured out. It means knowing when to move forward and when to rest. When to hold on and when to let go. When to take action and when to trust.

Just like the trees release their leaves, we’re invited to release what has become too heavy to carry into this next season.

Fall is a time to slow down, turn inward, and come home to ourselves. To honour everything we’ve grown through and make space for whatever is ready to emerge next.

Take a few quiet moments today, make yourself something warm, light a candle, and reflect on these questions:

🍁 What am I ready to release as I enter this new season?
🍁 Where in my life am I being asked to slow down, rest, or create more balance?
🍁 What am I learning to trust, even if I can’t see how everything will unfold yet?

You don’t need to have all the answers today. Simply listen to what your heart has been trying to tell you.

Wishing you a season filled with rest, reflection, and the courage to trust where life is leading you.
