For decades, shopping for glasses has looked almost the same.

At Eye District in Edmonton, we decided to do something completely different.
We removed the wall of glasses. Not because we do not love eyewear. Quite the opposite. We removed the traditional display model because we believe eyewear deserves more intention, more expertise, and more personal care than simply asking someone to browse through hundreds of frames on their own.

Eye District was created to challenge the standard optical retail experience and replace it with something far more personal: a curated, one-on-one eyewear styling experience.

Most optical stores are built around access. The more frames on display, the more choice the customer appears to have.
