We are sad to share that, due to unforeseen circumstances, our 34th Annual Tibetan Bazaar Festival, originally scheduled for September 25–27, 2026, has been cancelled.

We were very much looking forward to welcoming everyone back and gathering together once again and while we are deeply disappointed that we will not be able to hold the festival this year, we sincerely hope to extend the invitation to you all for next year’s celebration. We will be sure to stay in touch and share details as soon as plans for next year are underway.

All tickets that had already been purchased online have been fully refunded back to the purchasers account. If you have any questions regarding refunds please contact us at [email protected]

We want to express our heartfelt appreciation for the continued support, kindness and enthusiasm many people have shown for the Tibetan Bazaar Festival over the years.

This gathering means so much to our community, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who has and continues to support, attend, volunteer and help us share this special tradition.

We sincerely apologize for the disappointment this cancellation may bring and we are deeply grateful for your patience and understanding.

Although we are saddened that we will not be gathering together this year, we look forward to the opportunity to welcome everyone back again next year.

Thank you for your kindness, support and understanding.

May we all take quiet moments to offer our prayers, hope and endless compassion to the people of Tibet and Nepal as well as all who were tragically impacted by the devastating flash flood.

May we pray deeply and hold boundless love in our hearts to wish happiness to all beings, wish freedom for all beings and wish immeasurable peace to all beings.

We extend our heartfelt sympathy for all those who have lost their lives, loved one and homes and wish strength, safety and peace during this time.

We warmly invite you to join us in Victoria, British Columbia, for Building Happiness: A Moment at a Time, a special two-day teaching and meditation workshop with Kushok Lobsang Dhamchöe.

Through Buddhist teachings, guided meditation and practical reflection, this weekend will explore how we can meet life’s difficulties with greater awareness, patience and compassion. While we may not always be able to change our circumstances, we can gradually transform the way we relate to them, lessening the hold of unhelpful thoughts and emotions while cultivating the causes of greater peace, resilience and happiness.

This event is open to both beginners and experienced practitioners. Those new to meditation will be introduced to accessible foundational practices in a welcoming environment, while established practitioners will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding and strengthen the connection between meditation and daily life. Whether you are beginning a meditation practice, returning after time away or looking for meaningful ways to work with life’s everyday challenges, this weekend offers an opportunity to pause, reflect and cultivate lasting inner change.

Participants may register for either individual day or attend the full weekend.
