What an incredible ScandiWalk!

On Friday, September 25, Team Scandi across the country came together for Terry’s ScandiWalk, walking 5 km in support of pancreatic cancer research and support programs.

From every step walked to every dollar donated, this event is a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when our people come together for a cause bigger than ourselves.

The 2026 ScandiWalk is officially one day away!

Tomorrow, our Scandi family will come together for Terry’s ScandiWalk, walking 5 km to raise awareness and vital funds for pancreatic cancer research and support programs.

So far, 111 incredible participants have joined us and together we’ve raised over $65,000 toward our $100,000 goal. But we’re not done yet.

Every step, every donation and every person who joins us helps make a difference for those impacted by pancreatic cancer.

100 KM. DONE.

Yesterday, Joe Maloney crossed the finish line after running an incredible 100 km in a single day.

But this was about more than the distance.

Joe took on 100 km to raise awareness for pancreatic cancer and kick off this year’s Terry’s Scandi Walk. An effort to raise survival rates and support those affected by one of the world’s toughest cancers.

Now, the rest of Team Scandi is getting ready to lace up.

On September 25, our teams across the country will come together for Terry’s Scandi Walk, continuing a tradition that has united our people since 2020.

Joe may have finished his 100 km, but our work isn’t finished yet.

There’s still time to donate, get involved and help us reach our $100,000 goal.

There’s a reason Joe Maloney is running 100 km. It goes back to Terry Hay.

Terry was the founder of Scandinavian Building Services, and his impact went far beyond the company he built. His legacy of service, respect and connection continues to shape who we are today.

Terry’s Scandi Walk carries that legacy forward by bringing people together to make a difference for those affected by pancreatic cancer.

On September 2, Joe will take that one step further by running 100 km in a single day.

It won’t be easy. That’s the point.

Every kilometre is an opportunity to raise awareness, support life-saving research and help improve survival rates.

On September 2, I’ll be running 100 km in a single day to kick off this year’s Terry’s Scandi Walk, with a goal of raising $100,000 for Pancreatic Cancer North America.

Run 100 to Raise 100.

Terry’s Scandi Walk was inspired by Terry Hay, founder of Scandinavian Building Services. His legacy of service, respect and connection continues to inspire me today.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest cancers, but it doesn’t have to stay that way.

Every kilometre I run is about raising awareness and helping raise survival rates. Donations will support life-saving research, patient and family programs, and greater awareness of this disease.

I’ll be sharing the journey leading up to September 2 and throughout the run. If you’re able to donate, share this post or simply help spread the word, it would mean a great deal to me.
