Living with diabetes means facing daily battles — and choosing the right syringe can make those moments a little easier. Sure Comfort Insulin Syringes are designed with accuracy and comfort in mind, to help support you through your routine.

Here’s a quick look at the pros and cons of two common options:

29G, ½” (12mm), 1cc
https://aspenhealthcare.ca/products/surecomfort-insulin-syringes-needle-length-29-g-1-2-12mm-1cc

Pros:
✔️ Longer needle ensures insulin reaches the subcutaneous tissue
✔️ Reliable for those with more fatty tissue
✔️ Works well even if you don’t always pinch skin before injection

Cons:
⚠️ Slightly thicker needle may feel less comfortable
⚠️ Can cause more injection-site discomfort for leaner patients

30G, 5/16” (8mm), 1cc
https://aspenhealthcare.ca/products/sure-comfort-insulin-syringe-30g-5-16-in-8-mm-1-cc

Pros:
✔️ Thinner, shorter needle = gentler and more comfortable
✔️ Great for leaner users or children
✔️ Helps reduce injection anxiety

Cons:
⚠️ May require pinching skin to ensure proper delivery
⚠️ Not always best for those with more fatty tissue

✨ In summary:

Choose 29G ½” (12mm) if you want deeper reach and reliability.

Choose 30G 5/16” (8mm) if comfort and reduced pain are your priority.

Because every insulin user deserves tools that make their journey a little smoother. 💙

Bacteriostatic Water – In Stock Now

DID YOU KNOW?

Bacteriostatic Water contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which prevents bacteria from growing after the vial is opened. This makes it safe to use for up to 28 days once punctured – unlike sterile water, which must be discarded immediately after opening.

It’s commonly used to dilute or dissolve medications before injection. Always follow your healthcare provider’s instructions when using injectable solutions.
