Many of you know that I published my cookbook, Wellness on a Plate – Second and improved Edition, back in 2024. Unfortunately, I ran into technical issues with my previous website, and eventually the site was hacked, making it incredibly difficult for people to access the cookbook link.

The good news? I found a solution 😊

🌱 Tofu
🥤 Whey protein powder — perfect for smoothies, oatmeal, yogurt, or a quick snack
🥛 High Protein Milk

You don’t need to eat the same foods every day to reach your protein goals. Finding options you actually enjoy makes healthy eating SO much easier to stick with.

☕️🥛 My favourite high-protein iced latte! 💪

Step 1: Grab a cute glass jar from the dollar store. 🤍

Step 2: Fill it with ice.

Step 3: Pour in 1½ cups of high-protein milk (20 g protein per cup) for a total of 30 g of protein.

Step 4: Add a shot of espresso.

Step 5: Shake it up, find your favourite patio, soak up the sunshine… and thank me later. ☀️✨

Simple, delicious, and an easy way to boost your protein while enjoying your coffee.

This sweet potato flatbread was delicious 🤤

Today’s breakfast was simply:
• 1 shredded sweet potato
• 1 egg
• Salt & pepper
• A pinch of cayenne
• Cooked in a little avocado oil

Most people think lasting health comes from finding the “perfect” meal plan. It doesn’t. It comes from making one small choice at a time.

✨ Choosing to add vegetables instead of chasing perfection.
✨ Trying a new recipe instead of ordering takeout.
✨ Getting back on track after one indulgent meal instead of waiting until Monday.
✨ Speaking to yourself with kindness instead of criticism.

Those small choices might not feel like much today, but they’re exactly what build lasting habits.

You don’t need to overhaul your entire life overnight. You just need to keep showing up consistently.

If you’ve been feeling stuck with nutrition, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Together we’ll create a realistic plan that fits your lifestyle—without guilt, all-or-nothing thinking, or impossible rules.

Have you ever noticed that sometimes you’re not actually hungry—you just feel disconnected?

One pattern I’ve seen come up again and again with clients is the connection between emotional eating and the longing for connection. This can be especially common for people with anxious attachment (an attachment style), where feeling emotionally distant, unseen, or uncertain in relationships can create an intense need for comfort.

When that need for connection isn’t being met, food often steps in. Not because of a lack of willpower. Not because you’re “addicted” to food. But because your nervous system is looking for relief, safety, and comfort in the quickest way it knows how.

I’ve found that many of my clients aren’t just struggling with food—they’re struggling with unmet emotional needs. Healing emotional eating isn’t only about changing what’s on your plate. Sometimes it’s about understanding what’s missing in your heart. When we address the need beneath the behavior, lasting change becomes much more possible. 💛

PS: Photo from today reflecting at a coffee shop on how food and emotions are so complex. Hope it was helpful insight ❤️

Summer is here, and here’s your reminder: you don’t need to earn your life by changing your body first.

The memories you’ll cherish won’t be about the number on the scale. They’ll be the picnics, the laughter, the sunshine on your face, the people you shared it with, and the moments you allowed yourself to fully experience.

Stop putting joy on hold. Wear the outfit. Take the photo. Go to the beach. Say yes to the invitation.

Your life is happening now—not 10 pounds from now.

I had the great pleasure last Thursday to model for my friend and photographer for a Spring photoshoot. If you need any pictures done, contact him!

Can’t shut your brain off at night?

Try a “brain dump.”

Before bed, grab a piece of paper and write down:
• Everything on your mind
• Tasks you need to remember
• Worries you’re carrying
• Things you want to accomplish tomorrow

Think of it as transferring your mental tabs onto paper so your brain doesn’t have to keep them open all night.

Many people find that once those thoughts are captured, they feel lighter, calmer, and able to fall asleep more easily.

And sleep matters more than most people realize.

Sleep impacts:
✨ Hunger and fullness cues
✨ Cravings and food choices
✨ Stress levels
✨ Energy and motivation
✨ Focus and productivity
✨ Recovery and overall health

If you’re trying to improve your health, don’t underestimate the power of a good night’s sleep.

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is close your eyes and rest.

💤 What helps you wind down before bed?

It’s my birthday on Wednesday, and I am always grateful for another year of life and all its learnings so here’s a few my heart wants to share ❤️

The biggest thing I’ve learned is to live in the present moment. Life is so precious, and living in the past or the future robs you of the joy of today.

Do not delay joy until you start the business, lose the weight, buy the house, or get married and have a family—because every stage in life is beautiful in its own way.

Your mindset is much more important than you actually think, because what happens to you in life is mainly a product of how you view what is happening versus what is actually happening.

Stop and smell the flowers. You can work hard and achieve goals, but if you don’t stop and be grateful for every day and for everything God is giving you, then what’s the point?

Tell the people in your life—your close friends and family—that you love them and appreciate them. We all want to feel loved, heard, seen, and appreciated. If we can all extend warmth, appreciation, and kindness to each other, the world will be a better place.

Never compare yourself to others, because comparison is the thief of joy. The grass is not greener—water your own grass, and that’s all you need to worry about.

Grateful for another year 🤍 Thank you God

Eating out doesn’t have to derail your goals 🤍✨
It’s all about building a balanced plate (and making a few strategic swaps!)

Here are some of my go-to tips:

• 🍔 Burger + salad instead of fries
OR lettuce-wrapped burger + fries if you’re craving them

• 🍚 Rice bowls → do ½ rice, double veggies, and add lean protein

• 🍟 Want fries? Keep them—just balance the rest of your plate (protein + veg)

• 🍰 Planning dessert?
Go lighter for your meal → think salad + lean protein

• 🥗 Always aim for: protein + fiber + healthy fats

• 🍗 Prioritize protein first
Grilled chicken, salmon, tofu, lean beef → builds muscle + controls hunger

• 🥬 Add volume with veggies
Ask for extra veggies wherever you can

• 🥤 Watch liquid calories
Swap sugary drinks for water

• 🍽️ You don’t need to “start over tomorrow”
One balanced choice at a time > all-or-nothing

Eating out is part of real life—learn to work WITH it, not against it 💫
