BAYSHORE HOME CARE SOLUTION HOSTS CHUCK-A-PUCK EVENT FOR HOSPICE

On March 13, 2026, Bayshore Home Care Solutions hosted a Chuck-A-Puck event at the Sarnia Sting Game, in support of St. Joseph’s Hospice. The event was a great success, raising much needed funds for St. Joseph’s Hospice and allowing several individuals to give back to their community by volunteering their time. On April 16, 2026, members of Bayshore Home Care Solutions presented St. Joseph’s Hospice with a $2,932.50 cheque. We are so thankful to Bayshore Home Care Solutions and the Bayshore Foundation for their continued support of St. Joseph’s Hospice and those we serve!

As we light the menorah this Hanukkah, we celebrate hope, resilience, and renewal.

Our hearts are with those affected by the tragic shooting in Sydney, Australia. We extend our deepest condolences to the victims, their families, and all impacted. May Hanukkah's lights remind us that even in darkness, we can unite with compassion, strength, and hope.

From all of us at Bayshore, we wish everyone celebrating a Hanukkah Sameach.

We were also thrilled to host the Thistle House Care Farm Holiday Craft Sale, supporting their vital therapeutic care programs.

Caring for people is at the heart of everything we do — and our team shows it every day. Wishing everyone a warm, joyful, and healthy holiday season!

Earlier this week, our Chief Digital Officer, Dheeraj Paul, attended the Canada Health Infoway Partnership Conference, Accelerating Connected Care: Innovation Driving Progress, in Quebec City.

The conference brought together national and international healthcare leaders, innovators, and digital health experts—all committed to advancing connected care for Canadians.

Through AI integration and digital health partnerships, Bayshore is creating a more supportive health journey for Canadians. Our digital platforms connect patients/clients and caregivers in real time, ensuring care is coordinated, transparent, and responsive.

Bayshore is proud to announce our partnership with the Arctic Children and Youth Foundation!

The Bayshore Foundation is donating $25,000 to expand healthcare access for children and youth across Nunavut. Together, we're working to break down barriers and bring culturally safe, community-based care to Canada's northern communities.

This funding will support community clinics, mental health programs, and training for local healthcare providers in communities like Iqaluit, Rankin Inlet, and remote hamlets across the territory.

This Remembrance Day, we pause to honour those who have served and continue to serve with compassion, strength, and unwavering dedication.

Among them is Christie Blackwell, a retired Canadian Armed Forces Physician Assistant and now a Physician Assistant with 24/7 Occupational Emergency Medicine Solutions a subsidiary under the Bayshore HealthCare Staffing Division.

From postings across Canada to deployments in Afghanistan and Latvia, Christie’s journey reflects the resilience and heart shared by so many veterans. Today, she continues to serve in remote healthcare settings, bringing the same care and commitment she carried in uniform.

Let us take this moment to thank Christie and all veterans for their service, sacrifice, and the legacy they carry forward.

Photo: Christie (right) is seen leading a field-based medical training session with NATO partners in Latvia. Using a water bottle and tape to teach Cricothyrotomy, this is an example of her creativity and leadership in austere environments.

Cricothyrotomy is emergency procedure that helps someone to breathe when their normal airway is completely blocked.

Nursing Week Spotlight with Francita!

• I began my nursing career 22 years ago in Jamaica, as a young nurse, I was eager to learn and explore and quickly realized that nursing is a selfless profession.
• My passion for education and learning sees me completing my certificate in perioperative nursing at the University of West Indies,
• I worked as a certified operating room nurse in Jamaica and the Turks and Caicos Island where I gain my clinical experience and develop critical thinking skills, nursing is who I am, and I come to realize that the character of a nurse is as important as the knowledge she possesses.
• After giving 10 years of services to my home country I migrate to Canada, I completed the Bachelor of Science in Nursing -Advanced Entry at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in Lendley BC.
• I started my professional career in Canada in a small rural hospital in the city of Prince Rupert in northern BC where I worked in the operating room in different roles, I then moved to Kamloops BC where I continued to serve my community.
• In 2017 I started travel nursing wherein I worked in northern rural hospitals working both in the operating room, ICU and emergency area, this opportunity gave me a wealth of knowledge.
• I am very proud to be a part of the amazing team at Bayshore. Bayshore has provided me an inclusive and supportive environment in which I can successfully improve my education and grow my career.
• At Bayshore it doesn't feel like a job, it feels like family, and I look forward to coming to work every day, the support from managers and other staff makes me know that I am not alone.
• I look forward to being with Bayshore for many years to come.

Hello to the past, present and future members of the Bayshore Family. My name is Adrian Brisco and I am honored to be the new Area Director for Bayshore Home Health.

Having spent a large portion of my life working and volunteering in the not-for-profit sector as an advocate, member of community organizations, boards and committees –becoming a member of Bayshore was a natural fit. We share the same dedication to the communities we serve. We champion integrity that is visible not only through our words but that is carried forward by our actions. And most importantly, we hold the overall belief that quality of life is achievable, and that dignity should not be relinquished because we age.
Recognizing that many members (clients and staff) have been long affiliated with Bayshore; I would like to use this page as an opportunity for me to get to know you, hear your stories and participate in our future moving forward.

For those of you who are new to Bayshore or are seeking information to determine your path, we have an opportunity to grow together. I look forward to connecting with you all.

Kindest regards,
Adrian Brisco
