Brianna Lizotte (Canada/AB) is a JUNO nominated fiddle player from Edmonton. She grew up in a household where music was constantly played, whether it was from home videos or kitchen parties. Brianna’s two albums, "Scratch ‘Em", and her newest project, "Winston & I", have received radio play on CBC Radio, CJSR, CFWE, and appeared on CKUA’s Top 30 chart. She can also be found teaching Metis history through music and dance workshops to students across the province.

A big Thank You to Nipisihkopahk Elementary School at Samson Cree Nation for the warm welcome and for having us as part of their Indigenous Based Professional Development Day for the staff.

The staff and school are so warm and inviting, it feels like a real community and we were so thankful to visit, to engage and connect with everyone.

We enjoyed every moment - truly it filled our cup 🩷
