We just wanted to give an update to all our BLS providers. Heart and Stroke has issued another extension to your certification.

ALL BLS providers that were due to expire from March to September 2020 are now extended until September 30, 2020.

If you have paid for a class with us please know your payment is secure and will be applied to your class when classes resume.

Currently we anticipate resuming classes in August. However please know that the situation is ever changing. We will keep you posted as the timeline changes and evolves.

COVID-19 and your BLS certification.

The Heart and Stroke Foundation is asking all instructors to suspend classes at this time. We have chosen to follow their direction. For all of you who have certifications that expire from March to May you will have your certification extended until July 31. Please check with your employer to see if that is acceptable to them and the protocols that are followed at your work place. Below is a link to the HSF FAQ's regarding the COVID-19 policy change.

Please keep yourself and your loved ones safe during this crisis. Practice social distancing and wash those hands! If you have any questions or concerns please drop us an email.

If you MUST be re certified and can not postpone please let us know and we will try and accommodate you within the guidelines that are set down by the HSF.

We are looking forward to teaching you all again when this crisis is over.

Since February is heart health awareness month, I want to send a shout out to my doctor, John Bright Cage.

He suggested I have a check up because of my Dad’s heart history

As always, I am feeling great, but the battery of tests he put me through show that I have had a heart condition since birth.

The first good news is that I am completely asymptomatic.

The second good news is that it’s fixable, so instead of concerts and camping trips this summer, I am going to take care of my heart.
