Allow us to reintroduce Harley, one of our physiotherapists here at ARC.

Harley grew up playing a wide range of sports, and his love of anatomy and physiology is what drew him to become a physio at ARC.

When he’s not treating patients or staying active, you can find him nerding out to video games or playing with his 1-year-old puppy.

If you want to work with Harley, shoot us a DM so we can book you in with him.

Inside She Builds, Dani teaches snapdowns as a foundational movement but for Beth, an alpine skier, it’s more than that. It’s an exercise that translates directly to her sport.

That’s the goal of She Builds: teach female youth athletes foundational movements that build overall athleticism and carry over directly to their sport.

Our fall application is open. Message us for more information.

Meet Anastasia, one of our strength coaches interning at ARC.

Our strength coaches work directly alongside the physios, right here in house. After a physio session, patients often move into our conditioning area, where the strength coach builds a program to strengthen the injured or weaker area.

Everything under one roof means the whole team understands each patient, and care carries through from treatment to training. A typical visit is about 45 minutes with the physio, then handed off to the strength coach for programming built around what that patient needs.

You don’t need an injury to work with a strength coach. Anastasia also offers one on one strength sessions for anyone who wants to build foundational strength or work on something specific in the gym.

DM us if you’d like to book a session with Anastasia.

We’re really passionate about developing youth athletes, and She Builds is a program we’re especially proud of.

This female focused program teaches youth athletes the foundational movements built in the gym, movements that carry over directly into their sport. But it also gives them the literacy to keep developing as stronger athletes as they get older, regardless of what sport they play.

DM us for more info. Enrolment for our fall season is now open.

Another great Hyrox session wrapped up focusing on the 2/5 key pillars:

Station Mastery and Strength Endurance.

The strength work increases muscle density and force output which will allow you to push heavier sleds and walk heavier lunges at a lower heart rate.

Station mastery is all about becoming more efficient to reduce split times and energy bleed into other parts of your race.

Whether you’re new to Hyrox or wanting to cross train with your sport, shoot us a DM if you have any questions.

Beth is a 16-year-old alpine skier. Today’s focus was translating strength into power and explosiveness.

The session included shuffles, bounds, drop jumps, and snap downs. These are foundational movements across all sports, but Dani modifies them specifically for the demands of alpine skiing.

Want your female athlete in our Fall enrolment? Message us for details.

SHE BUILDS is built on a core philosophy.

Equip young female athletes with a skill set that carries beyond their current sport.

Sessions progress through foundational movement, strength building, and power development giving athletes the physical literacy to support not only their sport NOW but adapt to whatever they pursue later as well.

We understand these athletes are young and will have lots of opportunities in the future in whatever they decide to pursue.

That’s why the goal is always developing the athlete first, not just the sport.

If you’re interested in our fall enrolment, message us for more information.

VALD Force Plate testing will be coming to ARC very soon.

These force plates not only measure an athletes power, speed, and fatigue but also catch the side to side asymmetries your body hides even after an injury feels healed.

No more guesswork based on “how it feels” but return to activity decisions backed by real data.

Stay tuned as we announce dates when you can book this service.
