Edmonton Mayor Andrew Knack took a jab to promote awareness yesterday as the ManVan rolled into Edmonton's downtown core. The Salvation Army: Edmonton Centre of Hope partnered with Prostate Cancer Centre and Edmonton Community Foundation to provide free blood tests and support better health outcomes for vulnerable men in our community.�Together, we're giving men hope, dignity and a chance for a healthier future. Nathan's graduation ceremony took place on April 25 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, marking an important milestone in his journey of ministry and service.

Nathan's compassion, faith, and commitment to caring for others are evident in everything he does. He leads with kindness, encourages those around him, and is a gifted musician whose beautiful singing brings comfort, hope, and inspiration to our residents, staff, and community.

This accomplishment reflects his dedication to growing as a leader and continuing to serve others with excellence.

🍩 Celebrating International Donut Day at Edmonton Centre of Hope! 🍩

Last Friday, our participants and staff enjoyed a sweet celebration of International Donut Day.

Since 1917, donuts have held a special place in Salvation Army history. During the First World War, Salvation Army "Donut Lassies" served fresh donuts and provided comfort, encouragement, and a taste of home to soldiers serving overseas. Their legacy of compassion and service continues to inspire us today.

We were delighted to carry on this tradition by sharing donuts, smiles, and fellowship with our community. It was a wonderful reminder that even small acts of kindness can brighten someone's day.

A sweet day was enjoyed by all!
